Admittedly i am not a fan of puzzle games so I cannot be a good judge of this game in terms of gameplay. With that said, the puzzle presented was cool and the presentation looked great!

Just a heads up, the music in this current iteration of the game is not supposed to be included but were anyways. I am hoping the real, final music for this game will be swapped soon as I do not like having incomplete song ideas included

I will be honest, the game lost me towards the end, however, most of the game I found genuinely unnerving, and it has been a long long time since I've been that anxious playing a game. Doing something as mundane as unpacking boxes while having horror elements slowly creep in is a great idea and the execution is awesome here. Looking forward to more of your stuff!

Quite literally a game I think about still today after 100%'ing it a year ago, probably will go down as one of my all-timers tbh. Presentation is perfect, story is incredibly thought-provoking, gameplay is probably one the most unique ideas in gaming I've seen. Will be looking forward to more from ya

Insane concept and execution. I find your stuff incredibly inspirational and feel they push gaming in a good direction, Growing my Grandpa! is no exception.

Probably my favorite jam entry so far in terms of gameplay. I could see myself playing this if it were expanded and the performance was enhanced (was a bit laggy for me)

literally art

Insane presentation and concept; I really mess with the vision here and would love to see it fully realized.

Instructions: I use a lot of delays and reverbs, so most of the songs here have two files of the same song. The one labeled "entrance" should be played first. Then, if the song were to loop, the one labeled "loop" should be played next, and continue playing. So, entrance triggered once, loop will be looped. This will create a seamless loop of the song without weird cuts and such.

These songs are totally free to use for the Chill Vibes Art Jam 4 submissions, all I ask is to be credited for it's use in the game page.

If a game from this jam were to continue development and still contain my music, outside of the Chill Vibes Art Jam 4 game jam, I am still okay with the songs being used with permission from myself first.

If someone would like to use these songs for something not related to the Chill Vibes Art Jam 4 game jam, please ask first.

These songs will be uploaded elsewhere, altered, remixed, and used for other projects by myself.

If anyone needs help with music for their game, please hit me up; I'm new to game jams and want to make some video game music! Here's a small collection of songs to show what I can do but I'm generally open to many styles/genres: Pixel Series Vol. 1 | Simiaman

I do not have much experience with making sfx, but depending on the project, I would be down to try that, too!

I have discord by the way if you and the team would like somewhere where we can communicate

I can check what the work-load will be like with Pablo and, if it's light, I could always do both! Or I might even have an unfinished track that would fit with your game depending on the direction and such

can you resend the link? its leading me to a 404 EDIT: disregard, the period at the end of the link just needed to be removed

Chiptune is music that I haven't dabbled with, but not as much as i would like; absolutely agree it would be best for the resolution though and I would like to try more chiptunes out! I like the idea of making a color palette first; I like to associate color with mood and music.

I made my profile picture and the album art (64 bit) which was my first time doing pixel art and i think it turned out well. I can minorly help there if need be. I consume a lot of various video games, so I can help playtest, come up with concepts, etc, but mostly prefer to stick to music as much as possible. Sound fxs/sound design I do not have much any experience in so I would be starting fresh and unsure how i would go about it yet.

Awesome, do you have an idea for this jam? I am a complete newby to game jams so I would like to not only do the music, but kind-of learn the workflow and such going into these things

As in voice chat? I'd prefer we exchange messages; easier for me

Howdy! I am an amateur composer/musician looking to do some video game ost work, so if you need music, feel free to hit me up! Here is an assorted collection of video game ost-adjacent songs to showcase some of what I can do, but I am generally flexible: https://simiaman.bandcamp.com/album/pixel-series-vol-1
