Just adding that one of my students is working on a Windows machine and had the same issues.

Thanks gothswine. I should say I have a temporary solution too: clicking the arrows to switch to another room in the "room" editor (whether or not one exists), but, as with your solution, this is temporary, and problems seem to get worse when they recur.

Hi!

Longtime "casual" user of bitsy, I've just come back to the editor after about a year, and I'm having some bugs that I've never encountered before. They're hard to describe but basically the avatar, sprites, items, and tiles, seem to freak out a bit while editing. The changes in the following images are all from just playing the game and then stopping it.  The outer ring here should be my tile, not the items and/or sprites.

I can save the game, re-open the editor and it works fine for a while, but the issue quickly creeps back in.

I'm on a Mac OSC 14.3.1, and have had these errors in both Safari and Firefox.

I'm actually teaching a class where we're using bitsy and my students are having the same problem on Macs (OS unknown off the top of my head) in Safari.

Any solutions I can offer my class? Thanks!

Thank you! Most appreciated!

Streaming link doesn't seem to work, but download works fine!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Hi all,

I'm on a Mac, and the Steam version is only for Windows. Does anyone know if I purchase the Mac version here is that the same game?

Thanks!

Hi all,

I'm not going to be able to get a game together for this jam, but I'd love to take part on the music/audio end of things.

Just send me a message!

-Simon

Thanks for playing!

Thanks! I'm happy with some aspects of this game, but (since it was a 48-hour Ludum Dare thing) I wish I had time to really flesh it out a bit more.

Keep me posted on the rhythm game you're making. I'd love to check it out when it's done!

I'm excited to make Zines! Thank you for sharing this beta version. I'm working on a Mac, and I think I have a couple of graphical issues with things overlapping. Screenshots for fullscreen and windowed below

Thank you! I used to send my students to your site. I love the updates/revisions.

This is beautiful. Wonderful work!

Hey all,

We're hoping to get something together for this year's jam, but, just last week, we finished our new music game, and wanted to share it here (as this might be an interested community).

It's a cross between incremental games and a drum machine. Check it out if you have time!

Hoping to get something new together in this two-week window for the jam and looking forward to playing everyone's entries!

Uploaded a quick update for Android platforms!

This is fascinating stuff! I'm trying to do a field-of-view kind of hack like a simpler version of your pre-flashlight lighting here, but as you say, the canvas replacement has a high barrier of entry! I'll keep trying!

Hi all,

I'm a programmer with specialty in music and sound. I can't be there in person, but I'd love to work with any and all teams that want some additional audio support.

I think this is a wonderful implementation of games and I want to be a part of it!

Arg! I named my game the same thing. But how can I hold a grudge against something so adorable.

Oops! I checked both...

What are these two options supposed to be?

THIS.

Ha! Thanks!

Thanks for playing! I love watching your exploration!

Hi guys,

I got this Pico-8 game in a random lot on eBay. I couldn’t find it in any of the classic Pico-8 game guides, so it’s probably a bootleg.

I ripped the ROM (since my old Pico-8 system hasn’t worked in ages), and I figured I’d share it here since one of you guys must know about these obscure cartridges. I can’t tell if it the game is corrupted or if that’s how it’s meant to be.

Enjoy! Multiple endings, surrealist horror, and a bumping soundtrack (available for free download here).

素晴らしい。This is amazing.

Thanks! Great to hear from a UOregon compatriot!

Downloadable version, available below, is significantly higher quality than web version (especially audio).

Thanks! It's actually a free asset: https://github.com/keijiro/KinoGlitch

Fantastic! I love the generation of original content. Just great.

Thanks! Glad not to be the worst!

Done! But I don't have a machine to test it on, so let me know if there are any issues.
