Thanks a lot for your encouraging words! It means a lot to me.

The prologue is told from R××’s perspective. Since that scene canonically happens later in the story, we shall return to that scene in the future, where Akari will explain (or try to explain) what happened.

The taser is actually a promotional pic, but there will be action scenes of Akari down the line. :)

As for the shadow sprites, it’s purely a budget thing. It’s quite expensive to get custom art and voice acting, so that’s why I’ve set up a Patreon. Unfortunately, costs are still well above any revenue I’m receiving, so it’s a challenge trying to fit in all I want. :3

I do implore people to donate to the Patreon (or buy the game here) if they are able to, since it would make the game even better than it already is! When we hit 200 patrons, I’m looking to bring on an artist for action scenes exclusively, in addition to the romance scenes planned.

Hehe, thanks! <3

Hiya! Thanks for your message. :3

The Patreon offers a Steam key as a reward so that long-term patrons can play an up-to-date copy of the game, even when they’re no longer subscribed.

Since the itch.io version is a standalone version (that also receives updates), there is no need to provide a Steam key.

For those that prefer Steam DRM, we will start selling on Steam in February. Hope that makes sense!

Sorry to bug you, but I’m at my wit’s end. My game isn’t receiving any page view boosts from major devlogs, despite uploading new chapters, adding voice acting, etc. What this means is that it’s dying a slow death as no new player sees them. :(

Here is my game page:

I’m wondering if you could approve my recent major devlog updates, or remove the “shadowban” that’s preventing my updates showing as major updates. As far as I know, I have never abused the update system, all my updates have been major ones so far like adding full chapters or voice acting. I messaged http://itch.io support several times, but haven’t received any response despite waiting for days and weeks. I get a ticket number, but no response, ever.

Just kind of losing hope and falling into depression now…

I heard devlogs are a manual approval, but it’s been weeks and my updates have been fairly big; there are games that have updated and received devlog approval in mere hours. It’s pretty much ruined the launch of my game; I’ve been working so hard on releasing chapters but am not receiving any algo/view boosts despite keeping my game updated.

Yes, this is something I want to do once I get enough funds. At the moment there is a lot on my plate haha.
