This is exactly what I was experiencing, check if you've got overclocking of any sort enabled for your GPU, especially the VRAM and disable it. For me this fixed the issue with this game and actually a few others like RDR2.

If this helps at all, I've got an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, and the GPU management software mentioned above is "AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition". The software was configured for the "quality" preset, and so changing that to the "default" preset is what fixed it. Let me know if there's any other way I can help!
Hello again,
Thank you for implementing a potential fix. After testing the update, I noticed I was still encountering the issue. After doing some research into similar issues other people had that was comparable to mine with other games, I found the possible cause, which was overclocking. I just found that my video card's management software had my GPU in overclock mode, so I set everything to default and now the game's running perfectly fine (apart from some random lag spikes that I'm unsure if it's just optimization issues or not), regardless, at least my game's not crashing to the desktop anymore!
I ran task manager, and that showed a massive spike in the "3D", "Copy 1", and "Compute 0" graphs at the moment the game crashed after taking a photo. The memory usage graphs looked normal though (I got 32GB of RAM, and 16GB VRAM).
I also ran Resource Monitor and that showed "5 Hard Faults/sec" for this game at the moment of the crash, there's also a spike that goes off the charts on the hard faults graph.
I genuinely hope this isn't bad hardware, this PC is not that old lol.
Sure thing,
When the game crashes, it's always the immediate moment I click to take a photograph.
I guess I should have clarified that the game doesn't immediately crash to desktop, the screen freezes, and I get a popup just saying "Fatal error" and that the game has crashed and will now exit. Once I acknowledge the popup, then the game exits to the desktop.
Serious inquiry here,
I just asked Rnot2000 this, but I'm going to ask you as well. Have you considered contacting him regarding a partnership? You know the animation and sounds aspect, plus the overall layout design. Rnot2000 has the art style down, and the ideology of gameplay down. Like I told him, you two could make a great team if you two combine skills.
Outstanding! I honestly got no preferences, but if you do decide to pursue Rock-Candy's games, I'd just recommend you check their page in Newgrounds and see which ones were most popular, and prioritize those.
EDIT: Actually, "Rudolph's Revenge", or "Rock Candy [Ellie's Exorbitant Extrication]" were big ones if you do want a more specific recommendation lol.
This program is great, and I look forward to seeing what's new. However, on my end there seems to be radio silence in regards to the next update that was originally going to be released last month. Is there any word on expected update ETA?
On a side note; in Android's current paid-build, I often into an issue where the male doesn't move, but Naomi does move. Will this glitch be possibly be fixed in the next paid-build?
Skin color is WAY too white, or maybe it's likely the brightness is too high, you can't even tell what you're looking at. So adding the ability to adjust brightness as well as skin color/tone will probably do this app justice.
EDIT: Like how a few others have mentioned, being able to move the camera would be a very good feature. Perhaps a simple tap and swipe to spin her around would be good enough.
