Hello there! I re-exported the TTF using a different algorithm to mitigate the effects of upscaling. My pixel fonts are (usually) meant to be used at 12pts for 1:1 size, or 24pts for 2:1. 

Using different sizes will result in distortions/errors, as pixelart doesn't like to be upscaled at uneven sizes! Here's an example at 24pt.

Hi!! I'm glad you like it. Pixel fonts (like pixelart in general) only looks "sharp" at specific sizes. For this font, you can use 12pt/24pt etc.

I could draw a custom bigger version if necessary!

Eheh, I figured it would be for a Pico-8 project. I did a few free versions of my designs for it.

You could try adapting Yolk too, it's free (and even tinier than Passage!):

You could try Passage: it has a cap height of 7px! But mind: if you need to support non-English characters, 8x8 won't be enough.

EDIT: considering descenders, Passage won't fit an 8x8 grid without a few tweaks.

Thanks for your suggestion! I opted for a more human-parsable sequence (you can find the whole list in the included txt). My charset doesn't include all the characters from the ASCII table (I left a few obscure ones out).

I generally suggest 12pt (and multiples) to make sure the font renders sharp, but that depends from many factors (including OS, software etc).

With pixel fonts, using uneven sizes can create artifacts / make everything look blurry and badly upscaled.

Hello! Unfortunately this font is too big to fit in an 8x8 grid: "8px tall" refers to the cap height (the height of the uppercase letters). It's a variable width font, so it's not monospaced.

Hello! You can try a few different techniques: for example, you could write a function that prints the font in black in 8 directions all around the main white text. Personally I just tweak the png version, since I use it as Sprite Font.
