thanks a lot for playing! Yes, progression is definitely something I should work on if I choose to expand o  the game, so all these suggestions make a lot of sense :) I spent a lot more time on audio and art this jam, so im glad it paid off XD

Sure, let me know when it's sent :)

Yeah, that sucks. You should've gotten the prize I guess, since you're 4th place.

hi, here's my paypal link, not sure if i set it up right but do let me know if it doesn't work. thanks again for such a great jam :D

Hey romsteady, are the results based on Fun or Use of Theme? Based on that, when will we recieve prizes? Would appreciate any update here.

Thanks.

Yep, I would also like to know this.

Nice game! It took me some time to understand it but the arcade action is nice and I can see people trying to get the highest score possible. The sounds did get quite repetitive and annoying though. I had fun with it XD, great job!

Thanks for playing :D

Really nice shooter and an interesting take on the theme. Like others have said it doesn't run very well, but I understand you only had a few days so couldn't optimize it.

It would be nice to have some visual/ audio indication of enemies shooting though, i got shot in the back a few times without even realising it.

Apart from that, a pretty fun (and difficult) shooter, good job.

Thanks! Will check out your game

Nice game, it raises awareness about Alien Hand Syndrome well, although it would be way better if your hand actually did have a mind of it's own so players could experience what AHS is like for themselves - instead of only ever using one hand throughout the entire game.  Also the office work minigame where you type words didn't work for me, I typed out the word and none were left but I couldn't progress. So that stopped me from playing more. Aside from that, really nice game, could be enjoyable if I could play it all!

Nice game, but like dragonsproutling said it doesn't feel related to rare diseases in any way or AI. Maybe I missed something. But apart from that,  the art and overall gameplay is really good. Nice job.

The game is based on experiences with PTSD (which the jam host says qualifies for the theme) and the enemies use AI logic to attack the player, though it's not that strong. Not sure if you played the game entirely.

Hello, where do I provide my wallet details for the prize payments? I haven't been contacted yet about anything.

hello, the results have been announced on the Arcadia discord server

Can I make a game that requires you to use a controller instead?

Nice game, the music and theme interpretation are really good here. Like others have mentioned,  moving from square to square could be a smoother experience and was disorienting at times. I died way too many times because I was unaware of the fact that the snake was even moving when I wa sup against the wall.

I also expected myself to die every time I was near a bomb until I realised only the head takes damage from bombs. I wasn't sure if that was intentional, but maybe it would've been better to have the entire body affected by the bombs?

Apart from those, this is a really fun reimagination of a Snake game. Great job on this one.

Fun game overall,  and like others have mentioned,  surprisingly addictive. It did take me a long time to fully understand how the game works though, because there wasn't much of an indication of what to do. It would help to know exactly where the knight would be launched, as others have said, because it felt like I lacked full control of the knight a lot of the time. Other than that, this is a really unique game. Good job!

This is a pretty unique take on the Space Invaders game. The retro theme is pretty good too. I had a lot of issues the view angle though, it makes it really hard to understand how far the invaders are from you and makes it harder to shoot them too. Apart from that, this is a really solid  Space Invaders inspired game. Great job.

Really interesting take on the Arkanood genre, the simple  yet addicting gameplay gradually increases in difficulty too pretty well. Great job on this one.

Hey, thanks for coming back to play it! Yeah, the Bridge can be fixed easily but I forgot to add a single script handling that stuff to the level in my last-minute panic. A scrollbar or arrows are a good idea, I'll definitely be adding them if I ever plan on doing a post-jam version, as well as the buttons for within the level. Thanks for the feedback too!

Really fun game, and the graphics suit it perfectly. I agree with others that the difficulty curve was quite steep, my first few runs were really short and it took me some time to make some more progress. Apart from that, this is a really solid Crossy Road-inspired game. Great job!

Hey, thanks! Yeah, I ran out of time with the AI's suicidal behaviour before I could add more levels but I had a lot + planned out, more than I could fit in though. Thanks for playing!

Well, as I have stated before it was a last-second mistake. I didn't mean to advertise it as a Linux game. I have also added a Linux build so let me know if it works for you. Thanks!

That's weird. Most people have been able to use Proton to run the game. I'm not sure if I can upload a Linux build as per jam rules, but I've got other people to try it and Proton does work for them.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, sorry about that. I set up the itch.io page in the last 30mins of submission and panicked last second. I'll be fixing that, thanks for the heads up. If you're using Linux though, in the meantime you can use Proton to get the game running.
