Could be nice to keep the character always on top of the planet (rotating the planet around) or just make the right key go right (and left go left) even when upside down

Fun short game, would have been nice to have more waves of enemies and use the different types of projectiles accordingly, but nice idea either way!

Really cool idea, well polished and nice graphics! Needs more notifications tho!

Amazingly fun game, great idea! Graphics are also nice!

Good art and gameplay feels polished. Maybe a bit too difficult at first!

I like the art and nice idea! Movement can get a bit confusing, especially upside down. Good game overall!

Simple but really fun!

Love the art, gameplay is really similar to Crypt of the Necrodancer (which is good!). Main issues are that enemies sometimes spawn on the tile the player is standing on and they move before the player, making running away impossible if an enemy is close to the player. Good job overall!

Everything about this is really well made and polished! I love how everything looks and gameplay is fun too!

Very good art and nice music. Controlling the syringe is really difficult, so floaty! Good job overall!

Really fun game, nice music and nice art!

I like the artstyle, the road pattern is a bit too samey and movement feels a bit weird (especially reversing). Needs some relaxing music and sound effects! Pretty good for a 24 hours game!

mmh, are you trying to extract it in a already heavily nested subdirectory? Windows has a pretty strict max path length.

Try extracting it on a directory closer to your drive letter, if you wanna still try it of course haha

It was going to be Alice! Also, the background music was going to be an arrange of The Doll maker of Bucuresti. But no time left as usual!

We also almost decided to completely remove fairies at some point, but thought it was better to keep them for "play time" haha

I noticed some stuff being frame dependant, but it was too late to fix it. Also the platform edge glitching is pretty annoying!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing and sorry for the laggy experience!

Thanks for the feedback!

I agree, the first level isn't really explaining the dash move at all, like a tutorial should do. I also agree about the playstyles being too similar between the 2 characters.

Sorry for uploading the update post deadline, didn't think it would be a problem since I kept the original version.

I'll keep the newest version hidden until the voting ends!

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

I added camera collision in v1.3 that should help with the trees being in the way, but I agree, they are kind of annoying in some levels.

Ragarding the dash+jump combo, I didn't add the ability to jump because i wanted to make a jumpless puzzle/platformer (similar to captain toad). Sadly the puzzle part is kinda lacking because of the time limit of the jam. I would have liked to make much bigger and complex levels.

The dash away from the camera instead of youmu's direction is easier in my opinion, especially since she doesn't turn immediately but has a lerping effect on rotation.

Also, I would have loved to add music and sfx, but I ran out of time, much like the last jam. I'll try to manage my time better for the next one!

Artificial difficulty, I guess?

JK, just didn't notice while testing

Yeah, the camera control was still inverted in that version. Don't know why it seemed normal to me while I was testing it.

I just added the option to change the camera direction in 1.3

I honestly don't get how I didn't notice the camera being inverted until you both commented about it... Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for the feedback! Still trying to figure out a good camera/player movement for 3D games

You're right, the camera movement was bugged (mouse hitting the edge) if you played fullscreen or with a window the same size as the screen! Also, thank you!

Yeah, I agree with the feeling of luck-based bouncing, especially in some stages. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you! I made it and animated it using Anima2D
