No. You have complete and exclusive ownership of anything you make👍

I really enjoyed listening to this one👍

Very impressive! I'd be curious to know what tools you used.

Thank you so much!

Thanks to the suggestions from a few of you, the Discord server is now up and steadily growing. Everything is running smoothly.  If you have any ideas to improve the experience even further, feel free to share. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I've got a soft spot for chip tunes. Also very interesting melody!

Very cinematic. Good job👍

Great sound design!

Waited until the last 5 minutes to do the art lol

Good idea! I can do that.

I'm back in town, and finally got around to setting up a discord server!  There are sections for feedback on songs and suggestions for themes for the next Note jam, as well as general discussion. Feel free to drop by and share your thoughts!

I'll try to get one started once I get back from out of town. Meanwhile I'll link the next one in the current jam (once I get it set up).

I'm trying out full-week submissions rather than just weekend ones. I've gotten feedback both ways, but I want everyone who wants to be able to participate. Also, you can send anything you made over the week for feedback! If some of you really liked the time limitation factor, I'll consider alternating between the two, or even making a new jam for it! Tell me what you think!

Thank you!

Sorry I submitted the theme a little late, I'm Still out of town. When I get back I'll make some art for it as well.👍

Thanks for helping give feedback! Hoping to get more people on board next jam.

Really liked the melancholy vibe👍

I liked the classical approach👍

Nice work!

Sounds great! I loved the instrument lineup. Good sound design👍

I'm having the same problem.

You captured the theme really well! Not really anything I can critique. Great job!

Nice work! It reminded me of Minecraft a lot. I also really liked when the strings came in.

thank you!

Thank you! I wasn't sure how it would turn out due to the constraints. Yes, I was working with Famistudio (NES-style music) until early December. I've really enjoyed the creative freedom that comes with FL Studio. I've especially enjoyed using soundfonts.

I just saw the issue with the difficulty selection. Ill try to have it fixed for the next jam.

There isn't one yet. I've been looking into setting one up though.

Good advice👍

There will be a button on the main page when submissions open👍

Hey everyone! For the next game jam, I'm considering extending the submission period to a full week. Would you prefer that? If so, how long would you like the voting period to be? Also, would it matter to you if the voting period and the next submission period overlapped in order to keep it weekly? Let me know your thoughts!

When the jam starts tomorrow and the theme is announced, you'll be able to submit your entry. The idea is to wait until the jam begins before starting your song. This way, everyone starts at the same time and works with the theme or guidelines revealed at kickoff. The rules are pretty relaxed when it comes to the theme, but please be fair and don't put others at a disadvantage by starting early. Good luck!

One of the rating criteria is coherence to the theme. While it's fun to win, if you're just looking for feedback, anything is welcome!

Good luck!

it'll just be for inspiration. No hard themes I promise👍  I have considered making it the full week, so you can submit all small projects over the week. Tell me what you guys think!

Thanks for the input! could you clarify what you mean by improvisation?

Thank you! that's the one i spent the most time on.

Thank you! It was fun to make.
