Hello!! I wanted to leave a bit of a review, since I played the game and thought it was pretty amazing. Hope this is of any help to anyone considering if they want to play this game! SO, first and foremost, this game IS a short indie horror game, but that's to be expected since this was a game made for a game jam. HOWEVER, what this game lacks in length (I still had about 10-15 minutes of play time), it makes up for in stylistic choice. This is the first game I've seen to take on this style of anime/mangaka and BOY IS IT AMAZING. From the minimalisms in context to the setting outside the window, the art style is done really well in this game. There's been a trend recently to either make horror games that center around a) 3D or b) retro aspects (or c: all of the above). I'm glad this game is able to separate itself stylistically from other competitors. Personally, I found even the absence of music to add to its personal flair of being a mangaka; when reading one, you only hear sound effects anyways, never music.

Let's talk about the scares. I've said it before, this game is short, so there aren't a TON of scares in this game, but it really did have its moments of intrigue for me. The ending really left me on a cliffhanger and made me want to know more about what happens at the end/what the monster is.

I think the ONLY gripe I have about the game thus far is the audio. Not that there's no music, because I've mentioned how I appreciate that, but whenever sound effects DO pop up, I found them to be inconsistent sometimes. At times, they're way too loud and so I adjust my volume and then all of a sudden, they're now too quiet. Other than that, this game is pretty much a really good representation of an indie horror game done right. I wanted to wait to shamelessly plug my video till the very end since everyone is sharing their gameplays on it, but if you wanna check out my playthrough (and you can check whether you agree with my review!), here's my video! As I'm posting this a little after Christmas and right before New Years, HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A GOOD HOLIDAY!

dang what is this amazing game. I love the pigs and dem waves waoaoao

Alright everyone, here's a review of the game that'll probably get lost in the reviews because of how many people are playing it and promoting their video (I would know because I'm gonna be one of those people BUT LISTEN UP IF YOU JUST INTEND TO PLAY IT YOURSELF). The game itself doesn't bring anything new to the horror genre, but what it does SO RIGHT is the atmosphere of the setting. Honestly, you're just in a basement level floor. Sure, creepy as all basements are, but oh god. You can barely see anything. Everything you can see you have to be right in front of to have a clear view. You're walking and you're expecting to be scared at every corner. This game legit has made me scared to progress so many times, and I feel like that's a good thing in a horror game. I was a little confused as to the controls here and there, but I seemed to get the hang of it after a while. If you guys are looking for a horror game to play, this is definitely a good pick up as it is short, and that's why you see so many people covering it. If you guys are interested in a gameplay, you can check out mines here, but I'd also suggest watching others' gameplay as well! We may not have all the perspectives of the game, so if you want the full effect, I'd watch multiple gameplays. Hope this review helped you guys, and I hope this doesn't get buried in the reviews lmao

So this game is getting pretty big and gaining a ton of traction, so if there's anybody who wants to play this game for themselves just to try it out, here's a review for it! I know this is a demo, and ofc demo versions of games aren't the full content but this game is absolutely STUNNING! (kinda weird to say that about a horror game, but you get what I mean-- it's really well polished). The game itself plays as a horror platformer reminiscent of Little Nightmares, but this game holds its own in terms of style and environment. There's no controller support yet, but I honestly did feel as if playing with a controller could've given me a better user/player experience! The controls itself are really simple, so this isn't a con so to speak, but sometimes I did confuse the spacebar with the jump (up arrow) button a lot haha. It is definitely a short demo, about 15-20 minutes of play time, but it gives you a lot of insight into the depth and design of the upcoming release of the full game! Puzzles, jumpscares, doggos, this game is definitely worth a shot. If you guys want to check out my own personal playthrough of the demo, you can watch it here!

I don't know HOW the devs did it, but this game is simply amazing. I'm all for action and explosions and swinging around my swords in an action game, but this game was still able to mesmerize me with it's quirky world and silly cast of characters. The absence of violence and action doesn't detract from your experience at all whatsoever. For anyone planning to check this game out, be sure to spend some time on it because it doesn't take only 30 minutes to complete like some indie games (this is a good thing! I LOVE when there's a lot of effort and content poured into a game). Amazing game developers. I wasn't able to fully finish the game as I'm on a vacation rn, but will DEFINITELY do so when I get back :) If you guys want to check out a gameplay of the game, you can check out this video here!

Everything was extremely well made in this game. The aesthetics, the color, and the way the levels were played all wrapped me in within seconds. The ONLY thing I have negative to say about it is that it is pretty short. This game just leaves you feeling like you want MORE. I understand it was made as a final project for a class, but in its short play time, it does and plays so much better than a lot of other indie games out there. If you guys need a playthrough just in case the review itself wasn’t enough to persuade you to try out this game, check it out here!

This game was pretty fun to play, and I really liked the uniqueness of the game alongside the very cool abilities!! With that said this game was SO rage inducing xD Again, it was really fun to play and definitely deserves a playthrough. Devs, if you guys have any updates, I'd really love to check it out! Here's a link if you guys want to check out my complete gameplay!

Like all of the comments here say, this was an extremely well made game with a bunch of little twists that kept the game fresh and fun to play. There are a lot of comments with their own gameplay, and I definitely suggest you watch a couple so as to get a lot of new and fresh takes on the game! Would definitely recommend :) Here's my link if you're interested!
