totally unbiased and fair review :skull:

Oh that's unfortunate :( Too bad I can't upload another build as per jam rules, but I'll definitely add them once the jam ends! I'm glad that you take interest in the concept :D

Thank you for playing! Glad that you liked the legs oh I mean the fish lol

The artstyle immediately caught my eye, really unique! Easy 5 stars for presentation.

The gameplay is quite fun, the physics feels great, and the immediate feedback feels satisfying. Though, I feel like hiding the gun is much harder than hiding bullets, lol.

Overall, solid game, great job!

I forgor about the debug mode 💀 welp

Anyways, thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing my game! It was my first jam so I wasn't sure of myself, but I'm glad that you enjoyed it. 100% agree with your criticisms, really should have thought about game over UI instead of drawing the legs for 2 hours lol.

Oh wow, we almost have the same idea, but different ways of implementing that idea, nice.

The game needs a lot more polish, but I like the main mechanics, and also would like to see what you would do if given more than 48 hours. An arcade-ish game like this would benefit from having scores as the main goal as well. The potentials are definitely there.

Overall, nice job!

Incredible for a 48h jam game! Just some more QoL features, like autospawning, spawning groups, some keybinds... and it's like a ready-to-be-released game.

I enjoyed it thoroughly, the art, the gameplay, the sounds, all of it is incredible. Insane how you guys pulled it off in just 48h.

The game is quite fun, feels great to drag the taxi uncontrollably at high speed, and I love the fact that driving through buildings is required lol.

Interesting choice of visuals as well. Man literally chained on his job like we all are lmao.

Oh man, you guys nailed the atmosphere! The palette, the music, the effects,... the overall presentation is an easy 5 star for me.

I was quite confused at first, but after a few minutes it just clicks lol. The atmosphere adds a lot to the experience, especially when you have to keep an eye out for the monster. Overall a really good entry!

I made an account just to post this, because I'm just loving the game! The dialogues, the characters, the visuals, the pacing,... everything is just so well made, especially for an early version. The idea of having different solutions is brilliant as well, I can imagine a future where people gather to tell each other how their first impressions went, since everyone would have an unique first run! The alternative solutions were well written, they feel really natural and flow beautifully from the situation.

Anyways, for such an experience, I felt like I should do something in return, so here, please enjoy this little pixel art I made! (I think I messed up the colors though, I blame my 10 years old monitor). Hope that you guys will succeed with this game, it really has potentials!
