Ok. For starters - we are huuuge fans of your tiny traffic. Well done!! Second, lives stops you just from blind clicking, but I will def think about it more. Third , may be we can cooperate if you want and make some puzzle game all together ;) let me know - my twitter is @KatKuskova

Thanks for the idea about rotation! will use it!

Thank you, VogonCF !

Thanks for playing, thanks for reading comments below, thanks for your honest opinion, thank you!

I understand your suggestion about adding the directions, but it will break the riddle of make and make it more like random clicker. But! We def will add some hints :) Lives - the live system was supposed to be different with a nice and encouraging logic but it was too complex for the jam timeline. The choice was to do a music or to add complex live system which push a player but not too much. So, we decided to make music and I think it was a right decision to make - as music means a lot in puzzle games, especially when all the work is a mental one and not mechanical.

Thank you once again, it's really such a warm and supporting community here!

HI, Swills18! Thank you for a detailed comment! Thank you for playing our game, for thinking about it and spending your time for such long review. It's amazing! Now to the points you mentioned:

1. Arrows - no way, the whole concept of the puzzle-riddle disappears then. But we def will add some tips that the Ornament doesn't add any mechanic itself. However! I'm considering making hints option with a timer so some of the tiles will be revealed or reminded. ;)

2. Returning users. I'm 100% with you to remind these returning users what's what. I hope I can design smth more elegant than just arrows or a pic with an instruction. Btw, we will add a proper tutorial - 5 super easy levels + all jumps and portals will be added more smoothly. I had to cut out learning curve as I wanted to show different mechanics during the jam.

3. Reset - was on the list during the jam, but we crossed it out due to a little bit complex logic connected with lives and animations. But it's still on the list! Thanks for a reminder about it.

4. Thank you! your comment really shows interest in our game and it matters so much for us. Thanks!

Wow! Yay! Congrats! Thank you for your review! We are planning to work more about clear learning curve :) Totally agree with you!)

Took me sometime to figure out what's happening. Nevertheless, liked arts and animations!

Nice idea of combining 2 views!

As a dog lover - thanks! As a human - the camera made me sick a little bit. Jumping from the roof all the way down was scary, I was too worried about the main hero. Gladly, it can't die!))

Oh, thank you so much for playing it!! Pattern is a little helper for people who can't differentiate colours. It doesn't add any mechanics, thank for pointing it out. We will communicate it more clearly once we continue working on it! Thanks!

Thaaaanks!!! It was an intense first jam for us! But due to your comments - a productive one!! Thank you for your warm review!

True, it was a fix for jam. The lives system will be def reworked in the full game)) After all of these comments we just need to make it in a full one. Thank you so much for playing it!

Thank you for playing it! We are considering atm to make it in a full game ;)

Totally innovative arts! But I was lacking a main goal. Tried to find home, and was stuck on a small island. Nevertheless, Music is brilliant!

Atmosphere catches from the first step! Well done!

In love with your arts! Please, make it a full game with more lvl-design!! Foxy says Hi!

Nice minimalist style. But I got stuck on one of the lvl which totally blocked me from the rest of the game :(( However, I'm still curious what's next!

It has a fun mechanic. I'd love to see it as a multiplayer ;)

Ok. It's one of the games which I played till the end. Moreover, I watched my friends playing it (forced them to try)). It's simple in core-idea, fun to play holding physical buttons pressed and train you brain with a puzzle. It's an inspiring mix! And it works out the theme in 200%. You should definitely do more lvls and release as a standalone game. Please, keep me on track, would love to play!

Nice arts, loved the text lines while shooting! A little bit frustrating to play when the crowd is too fast and shooting, mb you can somehow defend youself? Anyway, cool game mechanic to move forward with it!!

Nice idea for the theme! Liked how it change you control, but the platformer itself was a little bit hard to get through :( Couldn't get too far((

Absolutely loved the game. Passed all of it, on the pre-last level (wasn't counting, sorry) encountered a bug with car suddenly rotating and driving somewhere else. On the second attempt tho, no bugs happened, and I managed to finish the game. Clever puzzles, nice mechanics, game style rememberd me first parts of SimCity for some reason, very positive feelings about this game:)

Classic idea with nice approach on wordplay:) Loved assets, gameplay is quite good, so rated:)

(1 edit)

Nice art, liked the cat, and Grieg is fitting perfectly to the theme. I'd like to use more movement during the game, as I just stayed on the pentagram and dropped skulls in there, on cooldown. Looking forward for the new projects!

Great art, but IMO guns are not so different to radically change the game. All and all - this project of a very high quality, professionally made:)

Amazingly looking game, also great respect for the theme. I've got some nostalgia tears! Also original and fun idea, would've liked to have such a game in my childhood:D

Thank you so much for a warm review! Moving forward with it!))

Thanks! Your game is also stunning! We are considering of making a full version out of it. Stay tuned :)

Thanks, man!

Nooo, they all should struggle! I'm kidding)) Thank you for your ideas and a nice review! It means a lot as we are considering of making a full version out of it. One of idea, for an easy mode - to have a timer with the hints you mentioned. But otherwise it doesn't make so much sense, as a puzzle supposed to train you logic/memory. It's like imagine a maze, where you can see arrows where to go - the whole concept of the maze breaks. So, may be some small hints if you really stuck and have already lost too many lives.

Once again - thank you!

Thanks!!

Managed to run it from Mac. Great job on bringing strategy to this type of games! Nice idea, a bit underdeveloped graphics, great feelings. Fits the theme and very fun overall. Rated:D

Unfortunately game thrown an exception and controls weren't working, so sad, looks very promising!

This error I'm getting:

An exception has occurred, but exception handling has been disabled in this build. If you are the developer of this content, enable exceptions in your project WebGL player settings to be able to catch the exception or see the stack trace.

Windows 10, Chrome 83.0.4103.116. Maybe it is possible to build Windows version separately, so I can play and rate it?

This game really made me remember this "How many scientists you need to change password - assign 15, let's see if they manage". After re-reading the description I got the essense of the game, cuz inside the game it is really hard to get it from the get go. Arts are superb, core idea is also nice. The only thing I lacked is difficulty - after you are getting the sense of game you are just assigning all crew member to appropriate colour - it works all the time. Also very nice fit to the theme! Good job!

Really nice style! I'd offer a bit more intelligent algoritm for pseudo-random color switch. But overall very nice approach to the theme and really great fit for mobile game:) I'd play full version definitely

Should I call you the Ambassador of Portals now?:D

Got a bit stuck with controls, returned back to the page -> got it:) Very nice take on TD genre, for me really fits the theme. Maybe makes sense to lower towers, so that they don't shoot from the basement. With a bit of polishing and different types of towers/areas this game would make a great market fit! Keep going!

Very nice idea, also key mechanics is working, but couldn't pass tube with the alien like most of the people here. Also didn't get if I can die:) After polishing I'd like to play it again:)

Very neat art and I like the theme with hero being on a scene. Also very nice indirect control idea implementation. Music is heroic but tad too fast for game pace:) Got a lot of fun playing, except couple of scenes where I was passively watching smart hero taking his turns:) Would like to see the full version!

Quite nice and original concept! Would like to have difficulty a bit more progressive. But all and all good concept! Keep going!

Very very nice arts and I m a fond of Rogue like games. So feels very nice. Little bugs were encountered during the gameplay, but overall great presentation. Would like to hear some music to it:) Flutes and fiddles:)
