Oh that's interesting, you're the first to report this one! Have you tried running it through the 32 bit sound drivers? I'll mess around with it on my roommate's Win10 machine to see if I can figure it out!
edit: Just realized that first sentence might've sounded sarcastic, so I wanted to clarify I do in fact find rare bugs legitimately interesting 😅
Hey! You can only take one person to Prom at a time (but you can reload a save to take different people each time), and the only faster way to make bucks is either entering a cheat code or finding the exploit vent in the A/V editing dungeon (it gives out 2 to 5 bucks infinitely if you spam the space bar at it)!
It's non-linear! Basically the events/plots trigger based on the characters' feelings for you/how you interact with them, so it can get a little random at times! Once you pick up a plotline it'll unfold as you go along, so hopefully it feels a little more organic. There's an unlock guide here too with info on how to trigger most of the main characters' unlocks: https://suiteddevil.itch.io/slasheru-act1alpha/devlog/536712/walkthroughhints-ac... (also thank you!!)
Update: I uploaded another version of v6.0009 Complete that should (hopefully) work! I think it's got to do with Sonoma not working with the Mac wrapper I use, so I updated it to a Windows 10 base (which worked on my Catalina Mac OS machine) - lmk if it's still broken, and I can try something different! (Also thank you so much for your patience!)
Not entirely! I have plans for a Mike/Sawyer threesome minigame/potential full poly arc locked down as potential future bonus content - I'll be doing something special for 5k & 10k downloads, plus (hopefully) a second and final crowdfunding campaign for Act 3 a year and a half from now, so there's a chance that content will show up somewhere along the line if/when I can figure out how to slot it in!
Totally (and thank you!)! I'm planning a proper Mac port in the upcoming months, but in the meantime you can actually get it to run on a Mac using PortingKit (https://www.portingkit.com/)!
Heyo! :D
1. The cheerleading uniform is in Ashleigh's room on her desk upstairs at AAA (you might need to lockpick to get there)!
2. Hex SHOULD be able to accept his pretty things if you've *spoilers* done his BDSM minigame at least once *end spoilers*! If you still can't give 'em to him after that, lmk cuz it's a bug :)
Coming up on month 3 now! I haven't been able to get a reply from Support, but I'll just use this thread to update you guys if/when a Related tab appears and the statistics as to how long it took/how many downloads/reviews etc until it appears, so at least it can helpful to folks in the future!
Currently: 2.5 months since game launch, 1.3k downloads, 310 collections, 31 reviews, no tab.
Investigation: Projects from other accounts that are up for 3-4 months with 5+ reviews have Related tabs; some projects with less than 5 reviews also have tabs.
Hypothesis: Related tab appears after 3-4 months, so it's time-based. However, I've seen games that've been around 5+ months with no Related tab, these don't have reviews attached to them, though. If anyone has a game that has a related tab that was published less than 3 months ago, please let me know and I'll add it to my findings.
Thanks guys, hope this ends up being helpful to someone in the future!
EDIT: It happened!! Total stats: 85 days on itchio since launch, 1.4k downloads, 334 collections, 32 reviews! Tab acquired! :)
Looking for someone super familiar with Wolf RPG Editor to nail out one specific bug in my loading/save/message box window logic scripting! I'm experiencing a specific message box bug where, when saving next to an interactable object with a message window, the message window sticks around on loading without ever being able to be reset in its loop. Resetting Sys0 to -1 or 0, or manually erasing the message window, both permanently borks the message window loop into disappearing. I've tracked it down narrowly to (possibly) the process of loading the Load menu built into Wolf with my own UI *instead* of using Wolf's default ESC UI, so the Load menu's not playing nicely with the way the message loop resets, but I'm directly loading Wolf's loading menu and I've screwed with the load code a bunch and come up empty, so help is definitely needed.
$20 USD/hour with a max of 8 hours. Please let me know your experience with Wolf in your reply (& ideally a link to screenshots of your scripting in Wolf!)
Heyo, my game came out in April & I upload a new build weekly for it since it's in Alpha - I noticed that it still doesn't have a Related Games tab. Does the tab appear after enough time has elapsed, impressions, or downloads, and how can I get one? Does uploading builds this frequently hurt my game's chances at getting a Related tab or being Recommended? The game's been out for about 2 months with just over 1k downloads so far, if that helps. It's been indexed and shows up in Search correctly afaik.
