wishlisted! i just wanna say - don't feel too pressured to release the game early. the deadline was missed, yes, but this isn't a school assignment. take care of yourself, utmostly.

is bird cancelling out of hitstun and blockstun an intentional game mechanic? atm one could pick strongsmin, walk forward, get hit, bird cancel out of hitstun and get a 75% damage punish light. that's uh- not particularly balanced. i suggest bird cancelling only being available for startup, active frames, and endlag of moves, dashes and maybe parry stun.

i'd also like to see bladesmin's super and other such hitstuns that are supposed to jail into follow-up hits a kind of special hitstun that can't be reversal parried. as it stands now, bladesmin's parry-super 2nd and 3rd hits can be reversal parried even though the first one hit, on top of even the normal one being susceptible to a bird cancel to escape pressure.

Ghosts & Japes community · Created a new topic Linux!

nVidia 1070ti, proprietary drivers, Fedora 39, Wayland. Running the game through Proton Experimental, and it works fine! Save for, I suppose, the fact that the game app has a generic name (in my case steam_app_0) and is always last in the alt-tabbing queue, but I'm willing to bet that's not the game's fault.

I was just thinking if by any chance the game could be published as a package for Linux distros to use natively without external compatibility tools? If it's convenient, of course - the game is just fine when played on Proton save for the _one_ nitpick I mentioned earlier. It would just be nice to have some extra compatibility.
