Really fun! The mid air jumping is challenging but addicting to get right. Nice music too and I like the robot's floppy arms :) It feels really polished.

Really cute and fun! The music was really great. Nice job on your first game :)

A lot of fun!

Great job and really creative idea! The controls were hard to get down but that added to the fun haha

I think the idea has a lot of potential, the controls are just a little too confusing to get used to. It's not always clear when I'm doing something incorrectly or if there's a bug. Nice music though and I could see this being a really relaxing puzzle game if some bugs and the controls were ironed out!

If this had obstacles in, I think it would be a really nice chill game! The jumping physics feel good, and I like how the sound scaled based on you jump height. The sounds work really well with the whole atmosphere. Just needs some obstacles and scoring to keep people playing!

This was fun! I like that the fire rate is so punishing, since it makes you be more mindful of your shots. Didn't make it too far but I could definitely see this being addicting.

Super calming and satisfying! The music was nice too, I really wish there was some sort of shwoop sound effect because I think it would be even more satisfying watching stuff slowly fly towards you that way :)

The idea is really cool! I agree that the possessing felt kind of inconsistent, I saw in the controls that you could possess cars and security bots but it felt like you had to approach them at a certain angle or something, I couldn't really tell. The main character design is cute!

Oh! definitely missed that, thanks!

This was a lot of fun! I agree that it would be nice for the enemies to have less health; I don't play a lot of shooters so the mouse felt a little too sensitive and made it difficult to focus on the enemies. The arena looks super fun though and the sound/music really makes it exciting!

Thank you for the detailed comment! I went back and dropped in some quick 'ploppy' sounds 😊
The music cutting in between levels is definitely something I'd lke to fix eventually, but I think it'll take more rearranging haha

Thank you for the comment! I just added an update to disable diagonal movement, as that was not an intended mechanic.

Thank you all for the comments and feedback! I've uploaded an update that disables the diagonal movement, as that wasn't intended to be possible.
There seems to still be some glitches with the character's rotation occasionally, but they do not appear for me in engine so I think it's wonkyiness on the html5 export side :/
I also added arrow key support in case that is more intuitive for some, but be warned that the up/down keys make the page scroll, which gets pretty annoying.
The overall unintuitiveness of WASD in isometric view was just poor planning on my part, but all in all thank you so much for testing this game out!

The art is great, movement system was a really cool idea!

Thank you!

Thanks for the comment! I get what you mean, I thought it would be straightforward but it ends up feeling much weirder in practice.

Thank you!

thank you!

This is so cool and trippy looking! I love how abstract you went with the story and the environment :o

Thank you! I'm an artist by trade so I went with Unreal to avoid coding languages haha. But Unity definitely seems like a more reasonable option for these jams because Unreal engine doesn't support html5 exports from 4.24 on :/
