Great job and really creative idea! The controls were hard to get down but that added to the fun haha

Nice work! It took a bit of time to figure out how to change direction, but I had fun regardless.

haha one of my favorite ideas from the Jam so far. Very un-intuitive way to move, but I mean that in the best way possible.

I would have liked some sort indicator of where to go, or if I'm by the correct place. Wouldn't have to be a minimap or a blinking arrow in the right direction - but I drove past the post office without seeing that it was the post office - maybe some indicator/sign/whatever just outside of each building?

It seemed to me sufficient to have a huge yellow rectangle, with which you can see an interactive object and already estimate what it could theoretically be  :)

Fun, well polished, loved it!

WELL DONE! Great, great idea! Superb! I wish I had thought of it! The concept is great, the execution is awesome too. I understand the narrative choice of not including a minimap, but I missed it. Or at least something to remind me that I had to move in a certain direction.

I would have been more inclined to explore if I started the game in "the middle of the map", you know. The way it is It's like I'm leaving my house. So I felt like: "where should I go? I don't really wanna go anywhere, I want to navigate this thing!"

Now that I think about it, maybe a short tutorial level would come in handy, too.

You should definitely keep working on it! Way to go! Inspiring work!

*edit> I went back to check on the soundtrack. I found it too tense for the game. At least for the first contact with the controls and gameplay... Maybe it's the environment art?

The art is great, and the idea is pretty interesting. When I started I thought you could only go the slowest speed, and didn't realize that I could type the same binary code multiple times to speed up. After that it was pretty fun, but I would've liked more feedback when I crashed or delivered the pizza. Overall cute and fun game!

Gameplay is very simple but unique at the same time. Well done!

One of the best game of the jam, it's so creative but there's some little problems, for exemple you can't erase a number you entered, and there's no minimap. The game is very fun tho

DeveloperSubmitted(+1)

with a minimap it would be too easy to navigate, otherwise you need to explore the location and find places from tasks on your own, which is an important part of the gameplay

Submitted

yeah that's what i thought too, it's fun exploring the map

I did take your advice and implement a backspace for one digit (minus key(s), as Unity does not backspace)! That way in case you entered one digit too many while speeding up you can reset yourself back to none!

Thanks that's pretty nice! I'll test that out :)

I like the idea! nice!
