I would be interested in working together, your art is amazing! Take a look at the game on my profile, it is a bigger project than what we could make in a weekend but a good example. If you are interested in working together we should come up with some ideas! I am definitely not an artist, so would be happy to do the programming (most familiar with Godot engine).

Glad to see you back working on these! Your art style is really unique and these animal animations are some of the best I have seen on here.

I am sure you have a list of things you want to get done, but I would personally find a bird super useful. I know anything you make will be amazing!

This is interesting and I think you should make an issue if you have the time. I have a completely different use-case in my point and click game, where sometimes if you dig the player into getting themself stuck, they still try to walk to the point even though they are standing on a non-navigable tile. This causes them to jitter back and forth endlessly until you unstick them. I was stumped on why this happened but I think this answers it!

Everybody needs more snails! I hope you keep it up.

Thanks for the reminder! I uploaded a version with the bug fixes described here, but I want to wait on adding the enemies until I finish the next quest. Were you able to make some additions to yours?

Aw man I love this, it has such huge potential. I think the thematic details (human farming, etc.) really draw me in and I want to know more. If you work on expanding it, I would love to see some story lines. There are a few minor annoyances that can be easily cleaned up - entering dialogue should be based on clicking or pressing a key instead of proximity based, there are a few black boxes on top of other content that made it look funny, and there doesn't seem to be a way to heal on the farm (or a consequence if you die?). I will be following for updates! Also, can you put in the description which author contributed what to the game?

What a cute game! I think the narrative is incredibly well done, but found interacting with the field a bit cumbersome. Getting the character to target the spot I wanted them to seemed to be a bit difficult, unless I am missing something? I think perhaps having someone in the game explain the farming to the character would help a lot. I also think letting the character break dialogue would be a good idea (i accidentally talked to the same person twice and had to click through their dialogue). I hope you continue working on it, it is super great!

Thank you, that means a lot! I followed you as well, I really hope to see updates to your iconic snail game!

This is a really fun game! You should look into enemy pathing algorithms, at the moment you can easily line up the enemies and kill them all, it would be more challenging if they were a little less predictable. I think most of the issues with farming and crafting could be fixed by making the days longer so that there is more time to complete tasks instead of having to fend off the enemies. You could even kill the enemies when day breaks a la Minecraft. This is looking good, keep it up!

I love this entry! It is a fun game and you could definitely expand it into a puzzle game to get from a to b by clearing paths with plants. I found an issue where when you are holding a seed you can still click grow, and I think it should be one or the other. Either way, I love the art and the mechanics. Keep it up!

This is a fun little game! I think it would be really improved with the ghosts having animations, or show the range they can hit you from similar to how you show the swing of the weapon. I agree that having remapping of keybinds would be very helpful and easy enough to implement. Way to go!

The style and direction of this game is really amazing, I love all the little details and the fact that it makes you want to explore more. I can tell this took a ton of work and I think it really paid off!

I am a big fan of the motion when items are used, it really makes the game feel alive. The cohesive style is really great. I love the direction you are heading in!

The scroll for tips on the right side is a super good idea, I am going to implement this asap. The crafting system is intuitive and easy to understand. I am a fan of the narrative driven game. You have done an amazing thing here!

This is off to a really strong start. The world itself feels well designed, and the areas are really intriguing (I wonder what is in the cave? How is the upstairs of the house decorated?). I agree with others that the building transition is nice!

Overall this is a really solid start! I'm not sure if this was a me problem, but I was constantly fending off the spiders from killing the baby, it seemed like they spawned constantly. I didn't have a chance to find seeds or else it would be game over. Maybe there is a pacing issue as well, because it felt like the day was extremely short. Was this intentional? I like that you put in some narrative and gave a point to it all, I think the way the game feels makes a lot of sense. The music was nice too and you really stuck the "horror" aspect with the opening cutscene.

I am in Firefox, it could be an issue on my end I honestly am not sure.

Do you know how to fix this? I would love to try your game!
