Thank you!!! :

Sure, there’s a bit of an archive available here: https://lucy-dreaming.com/blog/ 😊

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah, this was my first ever point and click game, created using an HTML engine I programmed myself with no previous game development knowledge... which is why the functionality is a bit... lacking!

Lockdown was created using the same engine too, but my later games (Lucy Dreaming and Hair of the Dog) were built using a commercial game engine, so they do allow you to skip texts :)

Hmm, that should work. From memory, I think you need to use it with the sink first, then spray it second. Let me know if that works for you 😊

You'll need to find something made of fabric to dye. :)

Hey, just so you know… we have now been accepted onto GOG too, and will be launching there soon 😊

Amazing, thank you for taking the time to play and review it! 😍

I've investigated the issue and it looks like somehow the game thought you'd already picked up the lice.
It's on a timer, so I wonder if something interrupted it when you played it through, so that it got as far as recording the lice, but not to the point where it actually put them in your inventory.

Glad you managed to get infested though (never thought I'd have to say that... again).

Very strange! Yeah, go on then, it would be really handy to see what's gone on there.
Please could you email the .dat file to tom@tallstorygames.com :)

Hmm, no idea. It’s not something I’ve heard of before. 😅

All I can say is, the game was made from scratch in 12 days, so I’m not entirely surprised if there’s an occasional glitch.

You may have to walk a little bit closer by clicking on the ground right next to it… and be hairy. 😊

That’s very good of you, thank you! So glad you’re enjoying the game, despite the stuttering start! 👍🏻

That’s super helpful, thank you! I’ll pass this on and see if it helps to diagnose the root cause of the issue.

Really glad that you have got the audio working! 😊

Just a thought... Please could you try switching the audio settings to stero instead of surround, and see if that fixes it?

I’ve spoken to the Visionaire developers about this and they have said that a new audio system is in production, but won’t be available until next year, unfortunately!

Sorry, it looks like I won’t be able to provide a version with perfect audio which is compatible with your system set up in the near future! In the meantime, if you would like a refund for your purchase, I think you can contact Itch.io support. 😊

Cool, thank you 👍🏻

Thanks for the info! Will pass this onto the engine devs. Hopefully something we can sort out soon!

Brilliant! 🥳

Thank you, it's VERY much appreciated.
I hope you enjoy the game :)

Can you tell me if you are running it on a VM or not? :)

Thank you, that's really helpful!
I have submitted your video and a bug report to the engine devs, hopefully this can be remedied soon.

Cheers
Tom

Good question!
It's not actually possible to "plan" a GOG release as such, because their curators manually approve/reject every single game on the site. We submitted it for review months ago and it was rejected with no tangible reason given.

There is a glimmer of hope, however. You can vote on the Lucy Dreaming GOG wishlist here: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/lucy_dreaming :)

Righto, that should be fixed now :)
Let me know if you have any issues loading it up.

OK, leave this with me! I'll update the build ASAP.

Whoops! Good shout, thank you!
There were so many buttons on so many platforms on launch day.

Yes, the full game has launched and I have adjusted the price on Itch to match the Steam sale currently running (until Monday 24th October).

Woohoo! Thank you so much Esmeralda!
I'm so glad you enjoyed playing it as much as we loved creating it!

Thank you so much, sorry to hear about the audio. Let me have a chat with the engine devs and see if there's anything that can be done. Any chance you'd be able to capture a bit of video and email it over ?(Sorry, I didn't meant o rope you in as a tester on day 1)

Nice idea.
Maybe try looking outside :)

Haha, I see what you mean. 😁

Thanks for the comment. I wonder if you’ve found a bug though, as the cloak should definitely be red 😂

Any chance you could send me a screenshot?

Glad you found a solution! :)
You should just be able to pick up the lab coat once everything has been set up for your Zoom call,

Weird, it works fine for me in Safari. Are you on a desktop or a mobile device?

Just wondering if there’s any errors appearing in the browser console that might help diagnose the issue.

Oh no, that sounds rubbish!
What browser are you using?

You should just be able to click on the doorways. 😊

Trying to gauge the right length/complexity for the puzzle chains is so much harder for a longer game! Good luck with it, I can’t wait to play the full game. 😊

We’re definitely willing to voice a full version of it 😍

I absolutely loved this game! It really made me laugh and the pixel artwork is perfect. When will the full game be released? 😁

That’s so nice to hear, thank you so much! 🥰

Hooray!! 😁
