Ah thank you for playing! :))

Thank you Zayle! Yes, we took a lot of inspiration from Papers Please :))

Ah no I'm working in Godot, and still pretty new to it. I like it though. I'm getting quite comfortable botching things together, so now I want to start learning how to do things properly, and develop efficient systems etc. The game jams really keep me motivated to learn more

Hello! Thanks for your comment, and for playing – yes, I agree with you that the 'spam-deny' option makes the game a little unbalanced (though you will get a very low 'total vehicle processed'). We will fix that on the next update!

I'll be honest, the last day is perhaps a little overkill on the traffic – so well done for making it even that far! Thanks for playing, and for your feedback. To be honest, we did struggle to keep to the theme as our game concept evolved (perhaps it is now more about 'spotting' than 'discovering') but we gave it our best shot!

Hi Andrew, thanks for playing – and yes, I think that is a very good suggestion. I think it must be frustrating to receive a strike and not be told what for...

Damn, I respect your commitment to making it through! Thanks for playing :))

Yes, Papers Please was a big source of inspiration for us! Thanks for playing :)

Wow, this game kinda surprised me. I really like the light-throwing mechanic, though the character's physics were pretty difficult to control.

I really appreciate your effort to cover a real + gritty topic, I tried to do something similar with our game. However, I would say that I was a little surprised when the first WWI slide popped up – it was a bit unexpected after the playful tone + cute character of the platformer!

You might want to consider re-designing the platformer a little to reflect the WWI theme, so that the WWI storyline feels more connected to the gameplay. Just a suggestion!

Nice game! I like the character-switching mechanic, and the fact that your allies will follow you – that must be fiddly to make. Also the knight's fun animation is epic. I'm feeling inspired to learn how to create dialogue systems now...

A very cool game – I'm impressed by the level of detail, and the fact that you would go so far as to create multiple 'cases'. Also the dialogue is pretty entertaining! Considering the game is so fleshed out, it would have been nice to have slightly more user-friendly UI (for example, an 'X' button in the corner of the 'Suspects' screen is a more obvious symbol for 'close menu' action). Still, I can tell that making this would have been a lot of work, so kudos to you!

This is cool, nicely designed. I mean, it's a bit weird but I guess that's what you're going for! Also, the 'game over' screen is very nice.

Haha nice game, kinda funny. I would recommend that you think about how players will experience your game for the very first time, though – we are thrown into the game without knowing the controls (until we die). It would be helpful for there to be a 'start screen', or for the game to start paused, until you are ready to go!

Where you been all my life </3

this game needs a lot of work. also, I died.

Thanks Jacko! Our top score is 98... did you beat us?
