Thank you so much for the reply

Lol what answer is this?

Just curious, is there a way to add portfolio work directly outside of an added website link? I have no problems adding things to a portfolio but I figured I'd see if I can add audio work to showcase to all of you guys.

there's definitely some good black and death metal bands. Enterprise Earth and Lorna Shore are a couple faves. Slaughter to Prevail, Whitechapel and After the Burial are definite go tos for sure!

Devin Townsend.

Periphery

Make Them Suffer

The Word Alive

Ratt lol.

There's a lot of music out there that I really like, making a Top list is pretty difficult, especially since there are varying degrees of genres.

yea that's not a problem. I'm wanting to do more of the sound design though and I've noticed that people are using different programs to develop their games. Does that mean I need different Middleware to work with them? I'm figuring things out.

I'm diving into Sound Design, I'm a musician/composer. I'm knowledgeable in Wwise for sound implementation. It takes a team to build the dream and I'm here for it

Hey, I'm Taylor. I've been a musician for 23 years, huge metal head but I'm cultured and ADHD so I make a lot of different music. With that being said, I've been attending Full Sail and it opened my eyes to Sound Design for Video Games and other media. I've found a deep passion for creating sound whether that be one shots, seamless loops for background FX or creating an ambient music track to loop while the game is paused and you're on your phone lol. I'm definitely looking to progress my design skills, network with new people and get this passion turned into a career.

I'm taking the leap into Sound Design for Games, I've recently found that this is a path I want to take and build a career out of. I'm attending Full Sail currently and they opened my eyes to Sound Design, every bit of research I've done to get into the business says to start with Game Jam. SO, here I am trying to figure out where to start adding audio to a developers project. Thank you for your incite and pointing me in the right direction....lol I hope.
