Hey all! I'm excited to post about our newest game-jam game, Conventional Vampires, a queer, safe for work, campy vampire visual novel where your character is attending a monster fan convention with a bunch of other totally human people. (Totally. We promise.)

There are three different routes to explore, and some gorgeous art and music to enjoy as well! I hope you have a fangin' good time.

Just gave this game a shot on a cozy night in and had an absolute blast! I managed to buy the Maneki Neko after my first hour and hire an Experienced Cashier after my second, which made for an incredibly satisfying and smooth run. I'm looking forward to playing this again, and I would love to see your updates re: events and weather!

Would love this feature as well. It's really hard to see the icons & read the text on my screen.

it seems like it's a way to create music internally, as you'd still need to use external hack methods to add your own sound files. i recommend using the bitsymuse ui, it's been helping me a lot :)

As for adding some interest to the levels, it'd definitely be something I look into if I revisit this game! Unfortunately as a one-man team, there was only so much I could add in just 72 hours. I appreciate your feedback, and thank you for playing!

I love the concept of this game and all, but oh my god, the music? Absolutely incredible! I would leave this game on in the background forever if I got to listen to that groovy music. Also, goose :)

I loved this! It was spookier than I expected (and certainly spookier than most games I play), but I had a really good time playing! I loved the Edgar Allan Poe theming, and the minigames were a delight. Very well done!

You have no idea how much joy this comment brought me! Also yeah, there's 5 more appliances planned out that you just... didn't get to meet because I didn't have time, Orange Crunch included. I'm hoping to fully flesh it out at some point in the future, which would be super exciting!

As for reheating something inside Mo... well. That sounds pretty intimate. Might have to wait for a release of his route for that...

I cannot put into words how funny this entire game is. Truly a masterpiece of its craft. It will live on in history as my favorite game of all time.

i loved this!! have to echo jessie's note about the controls being difficult, but i loved the puzzles and had a really good time with this game!

I had so much trouble with the controls and ended up getting stuck quite a few times but hey I had a good time so that's what matters!

I cannot tell you how absolutely in love I am with all the sound effects. This was absolutely wonderful, what a great experience!

Would you be interested in creating some soothing music for mine? It's not going to be an award winning game or anything, but it'll probably be good experience for both of us!
