Great puzzle and music.
This is my favorite game yet in this jam ! Amazing music (I wonder who made it), the animation is very nice and the visuals are very cute! I love the retro-y feel about the game. I specially like the level design, very challenging but not the point where you can get easily frustrated
Aw thank you, that's appreciated. When choosing the music, I was always wondering whether it was too groovy for a puzzle game, so I'm glad you enjoyed it. The links to the sources and their creators are all on the game's page.
I would love to contact you if you would wanna work on a game or a game jam together ! :D
Nice puzzle game! I really love the music :D
Really enjoying reading all the feedback. Thanks guys for all the support!
good puzzle game, good idea
Nice puzzles!
I think the goose is underutilized at present however. Maybe designing a level where players have to find a way considering how to get rid of the goose will make it even more brilliant.
That's a brilliant idea! I actually wanted to add buttons as well, where you need to find a way to get a goose on a button while you go through a doorway, but unfortunately there just wasn't time to implement many of the ideas.
Ingenious concept and interpretation of the limitation! The goose who spawns and echoes your movements was pretty creepy, and it made me think of one of my favorite horror films, It Follows (highly recommended). The stages were quite challenging, and I felt a sense of accomplishment for each one I solved. Awesome job!
Aw that's really good to hear! The levels were a bit rushed so I'm glad you still enjoyed them. I don't think we were going for a Horror theme lol, but I suppose a murderous goose chasing you down is pretty creepy.
Great style, both graphics and music are amazing! Bonus points for being a good old traditional roguelike, and a nice puzzly one at that.
Thank you!
like the art and limatation!
Thank you!
Really like the style, the gameplay was nice too
Thanks!
Very nice! I really like your take on the limitation and theme.
Thank you! My first idea is almost always a platformer, so I'm glad I challenged myself to do something a bit different this time
Really nice game, with good music and art. You found a clever way to implement the limitation and add a twist to a well know genre. Well done!
Thank you!
I love the concept of this game and all, but oh my god, the music? Absolutely incredible! I would leave this game on in the background forever if I got to listen to that groovy music. Also, goose :)
Haha! Glad you like the choice of music.
Did only passed the first level :)
Like it a lot even if I didn't manage to pass the second level, haha.
Good job
That's a shame but I'm glad you enjoyed what you did play. The second level was the only one I designed and I might've made the goose a bit intense on that one...
Unique (well, so far - I haven't played that many games) and fun concept!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
Really great, only slight critique I have would be the puzzle design. I think your puzzles have a bit too much "Noise", as described in this gdc talk, but considering the limited time, excellently done :)
Thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to listening to the talk. The puzzles were unfortunately a bit of an afterthought after adding all the other features so were very rushed, so we might replace them post-jam.
