The second best performance of The Raven I've ever seen.
I don't know what to say, except, amazing game! Great art! I loved the minigames inside the game. :D
Thanks for playing!
This you need to work more on. I need more of this!! <3 <3 <3
I appreciate this comment, thanks for playing!
Very atmospheric. The black on red color scheme was very effective, and I'm a big fan of the Raven.
I love the CHOMP sound effect when Lenore catches up with you. Were you biting into an apple?
In the ghost-shooting minigame, somehow I had trouble wiring my brain to the long/medium/short distance firing.
Also, the walking animation could use a bit of improvement. We do spend 75% of the game looking at that walk cycle.
The sound effect was a "neck snap" I found on YouTube. If I had to do it myself I would probably snap a celery. I agree with the walking animation being stiff, so I will try to improve on that. Thanks so much for the feedback and for playing!
Very cool concept and awesome use of colour! The minigames felt very undertale-esque.
Yeah, I am currently playing through Undertale right now, so I got inspiration from that game. Thanks for comment and for playing!
Good concept! Liked those "minigames" inside the game.
Got away a little bit until my neck was broken o.o
Good job
Thanks for playing!
Such a strange game! I was drawn in by the atmosphere, but a bit let down by the gameplay. I wish there was more story and more dialogue (and less damn ghosts!) But hey, it's a jam, what you made is already amazing. Good job!
I definitely wanted to add more dialogue, but I eventually I had to focus on the gameplay. It's a shame that you didn't find it the most enjoyable. I appreciate your feedback and your time for playing!
i enjoy the came it has a good concept
Those footsteps make me tense up immediately! I found the shooting ghosts one really difficult because I rarely got it done in time.
Yeah, it can be a little tricky, but if you can position your explosions to hit multiple ghosts it can go by pretty quick. Thanks for playing!
Hehehe. Those footsteps approaching whilst you're locked into shooting ghosts is really creepy :-)
Good concept and nicely executed.
Thanks for playing!
I absolutely loved the atmosphere and intensity of the game! It was perfect parts spooky and mysterious. Really fun, I love the minigame concept.
Thanks for playing!
this is after you get out of the ruins and sans said no
haha, yes this definitely has some Undertale inspiration as I just recently played it. Thanks for the funny comment!
I loved this! It was spookier than I expected (and certainly spookier than most games I play), but I had a really good time playing! I loved the Edgar Allan Poe theming, and the minigames were a delight. Very well done!
I appreciate the comment, thanks for playing!
Hah - those footsteps! great work!
nice
It's a very interesting game, I find it amazing that you managed to create a narrative and that the beginning was also the tutorial, I didn't realize it was the tutorial, it's a good game :D
I'm not sure if this is obvious, but the narration is based on Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven", so it isn't completely original. Thanks for the comment and for playing!
Didn't expect to be beheaded by my beloved Lenore. Lol. Good job making the horror atmosphere even tho it doesn't have any music. Keep it up!
Thanks for playing!
Cool concept and nice ambiance but it could have been even better with music
I wasn't sure what kind of music to put that wouldn't make it less creepy than just silence and approaching footsteps, thanks for playing though!
I love the red and black palette great presentation.
Yeah, I wanted to try a 1-bit style and it was really fun to do, thanks for playing!
Very spooky! The atmosphere and concept are really fantastic.
Exactly what I was going for, thanks for playing!
