I know Christmas is over but I'm not over Christmas. I've been working on the game I submitted for this jam and I think I'm finally ready to move on from it. Here is the updated version if anyone is interested in playing it! I put a lot of time and effort into this so I hope you enjoy and please leave some feedback!

That was really fun! I enjoyed the art and the mechanics worked very well on mobile. Felt a little strange giving kids beer lol but good job!

Fun game! I really enjoyed the progression. Level 10 was crazy fast. Nice job!

Thank you for the feedback!

I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you! Be sure to come back after voting for the update. I'm working on adding a lot more features.

Thanks so much!

Thank you!

Does this use procedural generation for the levels? Great idea for a tower defense game. The main menu was pretty epic also. I would've loved to have seen this one finished, but I also ran out of time so I get it. Game jams are tough during the holiday. Good start to a fun game.

Thank you! And yes I was going for creepy. The cat is supposed to be evil and if you don't feed it he knocks ornaments off the tree, turns off the music, and will unwrap your presents. Come back after voting to see the updated version.

Thank you so much! Come back after voting to see the updated version. I will definitely check out your game.

I've been slowly going through all of the submissions(there is soo many) and I'm very impressed with how everyone performed. There are so many great games in this jam. I'm posting to suggest everyone goes through some of the submissions in need of ratings! There are a lot of really good games in here and I've noticed some haven't received a lot of feedback. So spread some love to your fellow game devs and Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm very impressed that this was made in pygame. The controls were easy to use and the audio and visual effects were exceptional. Very fun and great graphics.

Simple and straightforward. I would've liked to click to shoot anvils and a little audio could've brought everything together but nice job!

Straightforward and easy. A little audio would've brought it all together but all and all nice job.

That was an interesting concept for a platformer. I liked the navigation tracker and controls were nice. I got stuck a few times, I would've liked a way to possibly "call" your sleigh back once jumped off or maybe double jump could've fixed this, but other than that nice job!

That was very fun. Took a minute to understand what to do but I really enjoyed the controls and upgrading system. Nice job with audio also.

Loading gets stuck at 95.24% for me :  /  I wish I could play, I was very excited to hear the music and see your art.

Nice job! I was a little confused at first, trying to drop as many anvils as I could to kill enemies, but once I figured it out it was quite fun. The size of the anvil made it a little hard to see what was happening but only when dropping one. I really liked the art though. Did you make the sprites for the enemies?

Yes, another game with cats : ). I'm very impressed with the cutscenes and story-telling aspect. The ghost reminded me of the ghost from mario, then the candy cane pickup sound did as well. Very cute and fun, good job!

This was a good time. The audio was done very well. The difficulty was a little high but sometimes not intuitive enough. I couldn't tell if I was missing my attacks or if the enemies were parrying them. All and all fun game though, good job!

I can see how much work you put in to this game. Great story writing and animations. I'm very impressed with all you accomplished, nice job!

Interesting concept. It was pretty fun to play with but a little hard to control. The santa meter seemed a little slow to recharge as well. Good job though!

Reminded me a bit of minecraft. Ran a bit laggy on browser until things loaded after each new interaction, then I got stunned and the game froze completely. Wish I could've made it further but nice job!

That was good fun! I liked the movement up until I started swinging the sword. I wish I could keep moving while attacking. I really liked the ghosts following you around though. Nice job!

Nice spin on snake. Thought I was in discord when I first heard the audio clip lol.

That was great. I liked the idea a lot.

I liked the concept. Nice job.

Thank you, and of course!

Couldn't play on browser : /

A very metal Christmas to you \m/  All around great game.

Very cool art style. I found 9 out of 10 presents before finding the blunderbuss :p so I was a bit confused at first but nice little boss fight at the end was fun. Good job.

Cute little card game. It gets a little repetitive. I would've like to be able to skip the dialogue at times.

That was quite fun. I enjoyed the concept, I think mouse aim or controller support would compliment this game nicely. Good job.

That was fun, I liked the audio and art. I wish I had more control of the sleigh and where the anvils drop.

That was fun. A little slow, and I wish there was a win condition(or maybe I didn't figure out how to win) and possibly a score counter or goal of some sort. Nice job.

As an anvil I felt like I should be able to beat the grinch in a fight lol. Nice job.

Bit of phone whack-a-mole lol I love it.

This game is legit awesome. Hard but just the right amount of difficulty, the balancing was very well done, and I liked the intensity. Screen shake was a little disorientating in full screen but wasn't too much in the browser. I had a lot of fun though. All around great game.

Hahah thank you! I'm glad you liked the objects because I regretted making so many. I would've had a lot more time for polish if I didn't spend so much time in blender.
