About the variations:

  • A Simple color swap (maybe the different season) would go a long way to make certain levels feel different 
  • Maybe some levels could have rivers or ponds to make it more difficult to build there, maybe a hill that does the same thing, then you could add ladders or bridges to work around them
  • Some levels in which certain builds are not available (maybe a levels where you can't use bonfires)

Also about the progress bar I meant the stats of the resources or production rate of the farm that you see when you click on them, maybe have a small Life bar over the resources already used and a meter over farms

Maybe It clutters too much the view and isn't good, if It isn't to much effort I'd try (you have a similar system of lifebars so I don't think it should be that hard)

Hi, I've tried the game and I really enjoyed it!

the characters are cute, the music is adorable and dosen't bother you and the gameplay is good, also iI think the pacing was fine

there are a couple issues/ things that could be improved but overall th egame is fine

  • the turrets do not make any sound which is a bit wierd when other things do
  • as pointed out by someone else the rocket is really easy to make, it only take 2 days at most
  • when you finish a night the screen that comes up seems a bit lower quality than the rest of the HUD
  • I would add some some of progress bar on top of resources (maybe it could be disabled through options if you like a cleaner screen)
  • somehow I managed to get into negative resources and I don't think it was intentional

aside from these I think the game just needs some polish and some more variety in the levels but I really enjoyed it

the main thing we need feedback on are the following:

  • are the dialogues ok? are there spelling mistakes? does anything sound wierd
  • is the secret codes system ok? did you try it? general opinions on it
  • anything about the general aesthetic of the game
  • most important, did you enjoy it or find it interesting or just boring?

I've tried the game, if you're at the start of development the game is fine but there are some issues that can be solved easily

  • it's a small thing but i'd stick with just 1 font for the game HUD 
  • when you exchange life for energy I think that (if explained earlier) I'd remove the confermation screen, similar to Bloodborne exchange of life for bullets
  • instead of jumps removing energy I think that the slam should remove it so that the player is not punished for doing a simple movement option
  • in the intro screen you spelled continue as cnctinue
  • instead of a flat image the main menu could be more appealing with the gameworld as a background for the title and buttons

the game also has other issues but I think these should be easy to solve and should make the game better

in any case keep going! the  only way to improve is to keep creating stuff

hey thanks for taking the time to give some feedback! I understand that the game isn't really straightforward in terms of controls, the pan is used to block the gun, the cat is there to be cute


by the way did you know that the european seabass was one of Europe's first fish to be farmed commercially? they were cultured in coastal lagoons and tidal reservoirs before mass-production techniques were developed in the late 1960s

thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately the controls seem to be a pretty common issue

yeah the controls problem seemr petty obvious in retrospect, thanks for the feedback 

there were some issues with upgrade screen, this was during the game, aside from that the game could be improved a lot,  but it's nice

You can only bock the gun, the cat is does his best

I'm in love with the visuals and the music, also pretty fun

The game looks really good and is pretty fun, sometimes the fish would get stuck and get stretched but it didn't happen often, only issue is that after a bit the music stopped playing, overall pretty good

very fun game, if a bit challenging,  but that isn't necessarily a bad thing

the visuals are but maybe the music could be improved

the game is pretty short but nice, the visuals are appealing and the music is catchy (maybe it loops too fast)

however there are a few things that could be improved

- ctrl is a bit awkward for crouching, I would map it to S or something closer

-I would add some sort of effect or small animation when you die, you respawn too fast if that makes sense, you don't have the time to process your error

-the UI and the main menu in general could use some work
