Thanks for playing! Seems like us taking some time on a checkpoint system was a good call haha

The cards almost make it like a roguelike horror game haha. Visuals are really nice. The creature is actually quite scary and made me play safe the whole game, like baiting it with crows first before moving somewhere.
One thing I had an issue with is that the creature sounds like its way outside of the screen even when its already in screen and near you. Tricked me into thinking I was safe while it was actually closing in on me. Would've liked if the sound actually changed into sounding like it came from the center when its near you.
Regardless its just a minor issue compared to how fun the rest of the game is. I had a great time playing it!
Jumping and dashing feels great with the responsive air controls. At first I thought the ability to control jump height with how long you press space would be great so that I can jump just a little, but that can already be somewhat achieved by dashing right after jumping. The soundtracks are also nice. I wish there was an endless score attack mode because that was actually quite fun.
Challenging but fair. After a few deaths you get the sense on how to avoid the mannequins in each section. I noticed that the mannequins and the player move at the same speed, but the mannequins will navigate perfectly whilst you are more likely to bump into props trying to turn, so outrunning them is almost impossible without hiding. The microsoft paint end screen made me chuckle a bit. Pretty fun short game!
Everything in this game is so well polished and thought out that its absolutely criminal there is only 1 rating when I tried out this game.
I love that the used seals come back to you after a while so that after quickly shutting a door and sealing it, you can run off to your next destination without worrying about getting the seal back.
Love the artwork, love the sounds, love the mechanics. Overall an absolutely phenomenal game!
