Really liked this, mega retro with lots of thought and personality put into the world design. Absoloutely loved the creepy faces in the background in between scene loads, great touch. Couldn’t find peanut myself because I’m a disgrace of a dog owner but great game here.

Loved the extremely retro feel. The town is HUGE and I love how I kept finding new things/ landmarks/ people to speak to. Thanks so much for sharing~

This game is perfect. I love the MS-DOS theme in this game, it's very well executed. Plus, I got hooked on the exploration, which led me to discover all 5 endings.

This game put a big smile on my face (except the bit where I landed in Hell). Love the Spectrum-esque graphics, reminds me a bit of an old favourite Jack the Nipper (Gremlin Graphics, 1986). The modern audio samples offset the retro graphics very well. Great job!

PS You've out-retroed me with that tape loading sequence!

The nostalgia! Loved this

this was so much fun! still haven't managed to get all endings but I managed to save peanut on the first try, so I'm happy!

Got all the endings! The fifth one was really cool

Love the art style and sound design! And peanut was very cute.

My heart was beating not stop with adrenaline, that is what I love.

That's a super well made 8bit game, simple but appealing! Sound design is really good too.

The visual style and sound effects are unparalleled, and the film also employs clever scare tactics. You've handled the retro aspect very well.

I really love this horror letter to old games; it reminds me a lot of another game from this decade called Faith (I imagine you took inspiration from it). I found the walking sound a bit annoying, but the rest of the game is GREAT, especially the faces that appear on the screen—they really unsettled me (in a positive way)

Looks cool, but the sounds are a bit overwhelming to my ears. The ending with hell is cool. I don’t understand how the dog appears, just randomly? I left the location and immediately entered it and there was a dog there. I also found a book in the forest but you can’t interact with it, is it just a sprite or some kind of secret? So many questions...

That was a super freaky game! I got anxious every time a message said that the monster was near by. D:

I think the endings are:

1. The monster kills you.

2. You find Peanut and return home.

3. ????? I thought this was unlocked by hitting the monster with a speeding car, but apparently, that wasn't it since I would get the message saying "You are dead" and the game returning to the main screen.

4. You get struck by a speeding car.

5. You go to a coal mine and go to hell.

I usually have a really hard time getting into pixel horror games, but this one really got me immersed. Great job!

This is an insanely good game! Well done! You've even thought about collision of monster with a car!

Ooh, this is going to be one of the top games I can tell. Great aesthetic, love the story. Got 4/5 endings, couldn't figure out what ending 3 was. Sorry for taking you to hell Peanut.
