Hey thanks for playing the game and your comment, I played your game and rated it :)
Also the loading time is actually meant for the proper path plotting. I could've added a loading screen for it tho :) but I realised that a bit late.
I just realized how complicated my game has become, the arrow points in the direction of the key but the paths are different(Due to the procgen) so its gonna take a shit ton of attempts to find the room with the key. Since I wrote the algorithm for the ProcGen I kinda know how the map might be set up and this led me to find the key everytime I play, I am kind of a God in my own game haha. Hope you get Lucky ;)
Secret code:- Crabs are natural winners at my Game. 0w0. hope this helps a bit
Awesome game (Made in Godot, right?). I am not gonna repeat what everyone said but instead give you a doable solution for the error at the end. You can add a Main Scene node out of the Scenes Folder (If you have one), and instance the game inside it. Move the music player node into that main scene and trigger the playing property of the player through the same. This won't cause that loop thing to happen.
I made this kind of error in my last game jam (first time in Godot), which caused my music loop to reset every time the game went into the restart state. I changed that in my entry in this jam.
Hope this helps! Cheers! Enjoyed playing your game !
Thanks for playing :)
In generic shooters, the enemies will swarm you even if they are low on health, which reduces the chance of their survival. I thought that instead of them being suicidal, we could give them smarter brains.
Initially when the player finds out that the enemies are actually not brain-dead zombies with a simple code, they panic, and that quickly turns into a chaotic situation.
Tbh when I first played the game, I was surprised that the enemies had learnt to swarm the player from all directions.
Haha, my enemy ai works as a hivemind to hunt the player down. Also the game expects you to be on your toes and in a chaotic state hence the additional difficulty to provoke you to do your best. But I think that I will reduce a bit of the player and the enemy health after the jam.
Thanks for playing :)

So you noticed that..... The player was initially supposed to stay 1 sec in the pose before returning back, but I tried reducing the time and it made for a really fun flipping thing and decided to keep it as a "hidden in plain sight" kind of feature. Congrats on finding that :)
Also we're actually an "over the internet team" of three members. Awesome people too.
Thanks for playing :)
I'll check your game out :)

Ah I did that but it kinda backfired as the animation nodes kept messing up. Tbh I think that the 4 direction movement thing adds to the chaos because it reduces the players options in a tough spot.
Also the music was composed by James, really awesome dude, check him out if you have the time.
Thanks for Playing :)
Ps-We are brothers- The Dark Night and The Dark Batman, sounds close enough ;)
Awesome game, the idea of snapping ships together is very unique and is a fun mechanic to play with... I just think that if you could make the mothership symmetrical with every addition, the game would look even better than it already is.
Don't get me wrong tho this game is really fun and I enjoyed playing it : )
