Easy, but still fun for a bit. The player feels good to control.

I didn't like the fact that you couldn't control the character well while jumping. Since the level you made had some precise platforming and made you restart the level upon failure it was frustrating to have to figure out exactly how far the jump + right input made the character go for every jump. Jumping straight up feels really bad when its difficult to move left or right because there is no jump in between fully going to the left or right, and just going straight up. I hope that makes sense.
I don't think leaning into the theme is a bad idea and I thought it was charming.
The character's physics didn't work as I expected as first, but I quickly got used to it. The difficulty seems in the right place for me personally. I could see this being a really fun mobile game idea that could be lengthened, good work. The only criticism I have is that it doesn't connect too well to the theme.
Great mechanic for a simple puzzle game. I got through most of the stages with some effort. One thing I would like in the game would be a "go back one move" button because making a misclick really sucks. The restart button also broke which is what caused me to stop playing.
Edit: quick side note that I didn't understand the controls initially but once figuring them out they were quite intuitive
