Easy, but still fun for a bit. The player feels good to control.

I see. I didn't completely understand that when I first played. I gave it another shot today and got to about the section with the moving platform but I kept sliding off it because I wasn't skilled enough to clear that section.

Beginner club unite lol

Thank you!

Thanks for playing!

Very fun and has nice art. I only have minor "bad" comments such that the restart noise is annoying and only in one ear and music would make the game have more life.

Oh, and I thought the mechanic is a great idea and the puzzles were well designed.

I didn't like the fact that you couldn't control the character well while jumping. Since the level you made had some precise platforming and made you restart the level upon failure it was frustrating to have to figure out exactly how far the jump + right input made the character go for every jump. Jumping straight up feels really bad when its difficult to move left or right because there is no jump in between fully going to the left or right, and just going straight up. I hope that makes sense.

I don't think leaning into the theme is a bad idea and I thought it was charming.

Very cool game! The art is amazing and the sound FX are good too.

I liked the levels in the game. They were designed elegantly and were fun to play through quickly. The music was grating but I can't make anything better I suppose. It might be better if the music didn't restart at the beginning of each new level. Overall, I had fun in my short playtime!

The character's physics didn't work as I expected as first, but I quickly got used to it. The difficulty seems in the right place for me personally. I could see this being a really fun mobile game idea that could be lengthened, good work. The only criticism I have is that it doesn't connect too well to the theme.

Thanks for giving it a try! :D

Awesome job here

I had no idea what to do but it was fun enough trying not to get magikarps.

It was a funny idea to make the jump button 2. Your game is very VERY in the theme of two I must admit.

The main problem I was having with the game is that the movement is pretty inconsistent.

All in all, good job fellow beginner!

I am in love with the art for the game. The music chosen fits very well too! The game is very calming to play even though it gets hectic at times lol

Thanks for playing!

Yeah you're definitely right about the shotgun being outclassed, haha.
Thanks for playing my game!

The visuals on the game are so nice!

Very cool! I love the art style of your game. The animations are pretty well done too.

My criticism of your game is feedback for attacks. Sounds + more obvious animations would be nice for either hitting enemies or getting hit yourself.

Great job fellow beginner team :)

Pretty chill game. I liked the music. Interesting idea to make the player do the same level twice but the second time there is a challenge. In general a bit bland but reading your comment below I completely understand.

Great mechanic for a simple puzzle game. I got through most of the stages with some effort. One thing I would like in the game would be a "go back one move" button because making a misclick really sucks. The restart button also broke which is what caused me to stop playing.

Edit: quick side note that I didn't understand the controls initially but once figuring them out they were quite intuitive

Super difficult for me personally but I think its a great concept and would be fun for someone better at rhythm games.

I liked the concept and think this prototype could be interesting if expanded on. A noir cat game is what I need in my life.
