Thank you for the feedback! The little soldiers AI definitely needs a bit more work, but by increasing the town's territory it should become less likely for them to gather on any side. Thanks for giving it another try!

Hey! Since GMTK2024 is now over, we've updated the game to make it require less user interaction. You should rarely have to manually engage in combat, as the Barracks are cheaper and provide more combat power. What do you think about the changes?

We've tried creating a combination between the classic city builders, idle games and civ managers into one as part of the GMTK2024 game jam, but we've unfortunately ran out of time in the balancing department.. so it ended up requiring too much interaction to be an idle game, but also too slow paced for a city builder :D

So essentially from level 3 to 4 I tried this - questionable - jump and ended up in this loop. I did try to press R to restart the round but it didn't budge. This isn't me nitpicking, I understand I wasn't playing the game as intended but I thought you'd like to know this detail. Overall, great game and good use of the 'scale' theme!

Amazing work! The game is really polished. You can really tell it was made by a talented game dev. Good job!

Thanks for the review! You’re right that we should have allocated more time for balancing the game, but you know how it is with these tight jam deadlines :D

That’s an amazing review, thank you very much for your suggestion! We definitely didn’t spend enough time on actually designing the game. We had a rough idea of what we wanted it to look like,  but as the jam progressed we realized we’d have to cut back on scope and objectives to make for the slow development speed. Your suggestion is definitely appreciated and could be a step in the right direction for our game!

cute and chill! i like it

The artwork is GORGEOUS and I love the idea of the shadow platforms! However I did get stuck in an endless loop where I failed the level but then I was being sent to the next one and then back to starting the failed one and so on

i love this cat ^_^

Thanks for the info! Really appreciate the feedback.

You’re right we totally overlooked the start of the game because we ran out of time! Do you feel the gameplay is too slow even after building farms that generate more resources?

pretty colour scheme and sound! really enjoyable

so chill and surprisingly educational

grabbing is such a satisfying mechanic! really interesting

Very nice eerie atmosphere! Reminds me a lot of Shadows of Doubt which i also like :D

Interesting graphics and the morphing into sea creatures is a unique concept... Although, I'm curious what you mean by group of three and a half? :D

Good luck with your game in the future!

It took me a while to figure out I had to zoom in so my first 5 or so drawings were just floating points in the Milky Way Galaxy... but now that I worked it out I really like it!

Thanks a lot for trying the game out! I hope to add more features and turn it into a more polished game. Would also like to see your game on the market!

Nice game! I really like the title and choice of fruit! Hahah

That's really nice to hear coming from someone who made such an awesome game themselves! Big thanks!

Jesus, this game is awesome! Art is beautiful, story is awesome, mechanics feel satisfyingly smooth. It is so polished.. I love it! Really good job!

Wow! The graphics are beautiful and on top of that the game is original and creative. Genuinely a really enjoyable game.

Innovative idea and cute drawings! I feel like it's a bit difficulty for my taste, but the mechanics are definitely satisfying. With a bit more polish, I'd definitely play this if it were a mobile game!

Interesting concept implemented in a lightweight and beautiful design, although I feel like the explanations, or perhaps the difficulty, could use a bit of touch. Good job!

The music fits the theme and your art style very well. The level generation needs a bit of improvement because I feel like it's too difficulty and relying too much on RNG. But overall, it is a nice game!

What a polished game! Your random room generation script really adds to the replay value. The sprites blend in well with the background environment. Well done!

Thank you very much! Will check out your game too!

That’s funny I also tap to the beat ahahaha although unfortunately that’s not an intended feature.

Thank you! I tried hard to tweak the difficulty to make it fit all sorts of skill levels.
