Welcome to Blockopolis!
This is the prototype version of our latest game. A creative mashup of city building and Tetris mechanics! Keep in mind, all the art you see is temporary (yes, those are definitely sketches) and will be replaced with shiny, reworked visuals in the final version.
In Blockopolis, you’ll stack blocks strategically to construct buildings, complete missions, and grow your city. Each building has specific requirements — like matching certain colored blocks — to upgrade into a more advanced structure, boosting your population and unlocking new possibilities.
It’s a puzzle-strategy game with a lot of depth and room to plan your city’s future. The story and lore? Still cooking!
For now, it’s all about the gameplay.
Try it out, let us know your thoughts, and help shape the future of Blockopolis!

Hello,
I just published a new build to the Demon Survivor Game. Survive the hordes of demons to be the ultimate slayer.
Any feedback is welcomed. Any testers can let me know the bugs that the game has.

Thanks for playing.
The first level is indeed easy. Did you try other 4 levels as well. The game has 9+ total rules in 5 levels.
The first idea you shared was discussed in the team and we did try it out with a smoke bomb- hand change style. We found it a bit more for our testers and so we decided to keep it away from the jam submission. The second idea you shared can't be done as there are 9 numbers and at a worst case you will have to change 9 times to reach to safety. I would like to hear more ideas from you.
Thanks for playing.
I understand what you are saying. Since it was a Gamjam submission with a restricted time. We thought of just making the first level super easy for players. We had another discussion about the tutorial the way you mentioned as well. If we add that, still players have to figure out the rules of game. So to overcome all this we kept first level easy and added a good and basic tutorial on how to play the game and it's basic of how to.
Thanks for playing.
The start of the game is deliberately kept slow. for players to grasp and fully understand the game. I think a skip turns button might have helped? The issue you are saying might be either a very rare bug or a new rules might have been added to the game. I think it's the second one because the scenario you mentioned is exactly the same for the rule of +2 Card. Maybe give it another go? If this issue still occurs then it's a bug and I am sorry about it. I will personally take a look at it.
Thanks for a detailed review. I do understand the rules can be overwhelming sometimes. Even are testers struggled for a few rules. The bug you mentioned is a rare bug and we have found a proper solution to it as well. Sorry about the issue you had to face. Coming back to rules, we thought of a few different approaches to the rules idea. As we wanted to make the game more towards the theme and away from the traditional card game we thought to hide it. Do you have any suggestion on what can be done more to help the players more?
