Haha I'm doing a rework for Sfx hierarchy right now which is making last week's refactor a sweet memory by comparison 😭

Ah, forgot to explain that! Steam requires a lot of extra pieces of art to show off your game, capsule art are a couple of different pieces that are like the main artwork for the steam page. generally you need it resized for the banner, when it's viewed in the library, and for extra events like front page and stuff
Hello, I love you're stuff. I recently purchased this and the Tarnished Widow. I'm using unity and have been importing your sprite sheets with:
-16 ppu
-Filter Mode: Point no filter
-compression: none
The tarnish widow was a little blurry, but I set Max size to 4096 and it fixed everything.
With this asset, I tried setting it all the way up to 16384, but the asset keeps coming out blurry. Do you have any tips on how to fix this?
Thank you!
Have you claimed the game here on itch? If so you should be able to get the latest version here for free! I've been updating the itch version since release with all updates so it's in sync with the steam release. If you install using the itch.io/app it should handle all updates automatically for you! Hopefully youll be able to run the latest that way.
Let me know if you have any more trouble we can get it running.
ahh yep those frogs were throwing it all over the place. Still see this crop up every now and then. So still some distances and directions to balance.
Btw if the disc becomes unreachable it will start blinking after five seconds then respawn close to where you threw it from without making you lose!
Glad to hear it! Couple more patches to go before release so maybe Ill pull a hat trick.
Hi Bobba, I wasn't aware that you could claim games on itch and will have to look into this and probably change the language. With my game now you can download before March 18 and keep it on this platform for free with the promise that I will post all future updated versions of the game to itch
Your comment also made me double check how getting updates will work after the game goes off sale. I've looked into it and according to itch, once you downloaded the game you are given a unique url where you can redownload the game at any time in case you delete the game or simply want the lastest update.
In all honesty this seems like a bit more work than I was hoping it would be for users. What I do is use the itch.io/app. If you download that it works like a steam client where you can download itch games through it and run them instead of having to download separate games. This app also has the added benefit of auto updating your game so you don't have to worry about redownloading the latest version. I recommend getting it this way!
Anyway I hope this helps. I'll be sure to change my wording.
Hi Bobby! By claim I just mean being able to download and keep it forever. I've been getting a lot of people who are unfamiliar with itch coming to this page so I chose to use the word claim so they get a better sense of what exactly happens when they download (getting the copy and not having to buy it on any other platforms to receive updates)
Thank you for the wishlist!
Thank you for the kind words and the feedback! Yea the single player mode is still a very new addition so there are a ton of problems with maneuvering both characters. I’ve experimented with controlling one at a time but so far none of my implementations have made it any easier. I will let you know down the line if I figure out anything particularly clever.
Tracing the shots is a planned feature coming down the line as well as cleaning up the levels so there are no irritrevable disc situations. Thank you for reporting the level four one, I will probably be removing the floor beneath the goal on that level to make it simply fall into the water if you miss the goal!
I’m glad you had a good time though! Let me know if you get to try the coop mode! I would love to get your feedback on that as well.
Very glad you got it working :) Thank you for the feedback and the kind words. I agree, the enemies were an early concept that seemed like a good idea before I had a better understanding of what the game was. I’m starting to notice that peaceful is a word that several people that play have been saying so I will definitely consider leaning into that as a design pillar. Out of curiosity, what was your favourite level and have you tried multiplayer? I wonder if the vibe will change if you play with a friend.
Thank you for letting me know, that is very helpful. Last patch was all about improving controls so something might have come undone. Unfortunately I’m away on vacation and won’t have access to my computer until mid next week, but here are a couple of steps that might help you get past the main screen in the mean time:
If your mouse appears on screen and you hover over the options, do they get hilighted? If not try switching from using keyboard to mouse and back until the UI focuses on one of the elements.
If you have a controller, plug it in before starting the game and move the joystick. It should automatically snap to the single player option for you to click. If that doesn’t work try switching between the mouse and joystick. One of them hopefully will be able to focus on one of the buttons.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I’ll try to patch it soon!
