Easily one of my faves of the jam! If you decide to further expand on it I suggest changing the camera to a strictly top-down view instead of the slight tilt it has now. The viewing angle makes it very hard to accurately judge where you're actually hitting the ball towards.

It's now closed closed. Were you able to get a reply from Andre?

It has! Andre is getting a lot of these e-mails so he's still sorting through them

I have no idea but it was totally unintentional lol

So you were able to upload it on time just not publish it? This might be helpful then.

Official from André:

If you missed the deadline for the following reasons:

- internet problem - forgot to associate do the jam page - any major issue

please e-mail mixandjamyt@gmail.com

PLEASE include the link for you game and the reason why there was a problem

The links sent in the next 30 minutes [since the jam ended] with the proper reason will be included

Copying the official announcement Andre made about this to confirm that this is legit:

Correct, unfortunately you can't make any bugfixes after the deadline either :(

Thanks! Yea I ran out of time to add barriers to prevent from flying too far off... post-jam version fixes!

Fun! Not a whole lot of counterplay once the get the ball over the other player's head though haha.

Also there was one instance where I launched the ball really high off screen and it never came back down, maybe it got stuck or lost?

What are the controls? All I could figure out was moving around the truck.

I think I spent a solid 6 hours trying to fix a quirk with my game's mechanic that ended up being a really complex problem, but I couldn't figure it out so in the end I just scrapped it and reverted to an earlier version D:

Thankfully it's a pretty out there edge case that I don't think anyone's ran into yet, but I'm sad that I lost all that valuable time lol

Very nice! Would be nice if it didn't require holding the mouse button down though. Getting it to hit the side I wanted was a little tricky at first but I was able to get the hang of it on my second play.

Wow, thanks! I never played the 3D Worms but the old ones were a big part of my childhood so that's a huge compliment!

Thanks! The original plan was to have a settings menu where you could tweak all sorts of values like the reel-in speed to your liking, but of course I ran out of time haha. I'll likely upload a more complete version later after uploads reopen!

Go to the jam page for your game, there will be a link to remove it there.

In other words, you can submit as many times as you need while the Jam is still going on but once that deadline rolls around further submissions will be locked until after voting is over!

Thanks! We wanted to have more levels and unit types so you had to really pick out when the best time to flip which units would be, but we ended up running out of time. I think there's still some of that, but without the UI to show the differences between the unit types I don't expect players to realize what all the options are haha. (I'd be impressed if you realized the big slimes can hold three enemies attention at once and the hooded ladies have a ranged attack on your own!)

Nice twist, but to be honest this feels more like a reversal of a genre than a genre without a mechanic.
