Great style. I am very bad at sliding puzzles.

I really dig the aesthetic and sound design. I'm going to check back on this when you get the spawn thing fixed. I say it happens 1/3 of the time. Seems pretty random though.

The fast fluid movement combined with the risk/reward of various attack styles creates some really enticing combat situations. I really like what you have started here.

Boy I'm bad at these types of games. I found this very difficult. I think I got down to 30 a few times and died.

You made a good fighting game here. I say this because:

  1. I'm bad at it
  2. The difficulty escalates well
  3. The attacks come out fast
  4. I swore at Darth Vador repeatedly

I had a difficult time finding a window where I could dash forward and get off a light attack. Vador always seemed to see it coming.

PWFS does a great job of flowing between chill and super stressful!

Can you answer a few questions to help me track this down?

  • Which platform are you on? PC/Mac
  • Are you running in a window or full screen?
  • What resolution are you playing it at?

Thanks! It has been a while since I looked at this project so I don't know exactly what the problem might be.

Location for bug reports and discussion.

I'm sorry the controls didn't work for you.

You are required to left click on Gordon each time you want to move.

Also, you can hold down the Right Mouse Button as you move across the tiles to see the pathing.

I am cleaning up a few things and will have an update out in the next few days.

I'm glad you liked it! I am currently expanding on this idea and will update soon!

The comic book panels that are dismissed by pressing a relevant action is a great touch.

I love the style, and the use of color and sound you have going here.

This is a great first issue!

I feel pretty good about this! It took me a while, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Thank you!

Thanks for playing! I definitely need to add some up front description of what you are trying to do. I'm not sure which version you played, but I recently made it so shooting one of the red balls will change it to the color of your own bullets. This makes them able to digest yourself and they will bounce off everything else.

I just now added some rough AI to the second player if you are solo to add a little more fun.

Thank you for the feedback and your time!

This game was beautiful to look at. Very unique puzzle mechanic.

Every minigame in here felt great and made me laugh with it's sound bites. Great work!

I really enjoyed the theme and puzzle aspect of this game. Great work!

Known bug has been fixed. Please let me know if you find anything else and have fun!

Thanks for hosting the jam and the great feedback! The yellow bar is for something I didn't have time to implement. I guess I'll keep that a secret. There is a boss fight, and yeah it's a pretty big map to explore, but hopefully you found the weapon powerup which allows the traversal of more of the map.

Things I would like to add: proper story dialog, some environmental differences to break up the size of the space station and support the story, and the yellow bar stuff!

Known bug: If you die at the boss, things get a little weird when you return. It doesn't completely break the game, but... maybe don't die at the boss.

This ended up being a very interesting tool for creative writing. The prompts were a very good balance of things that are familiar, and things I wouldn't necessarily group together. I don't know how much of this is orchestrated, and how much of it is completely random, but regardless, nice work coming up with descriptors for the space, characters, and their personalities and motivations.

One improvement I'd like to see is the text breaking for a new line when it hits the edge of the description box.

Cool concept!

Very cool concept for a game. It can get a bit addictive. My family was walking by and jumping in as they heard the music and sounds. Nice job!

Very fun game to play multiplayer. It definitely helps to know the placement of the keys beforehand. :P

Very creepy atmosphere and a fun concept. After a certain point I don't know that I could have kept up.

I laughed real hard at the delivery part.

The level of polish in the presentation of this game between the level design, animation, locomotion, and lighting is incredible. Great work!

Your games always do a great job of presenting a mechanic which requires a good deal of time to get comfortable and skilled at and Concentric is no exception.

Cool concept, and great interface.

I really enjoyed the atmoshpere created by the soft light and blends of color. Something about the characters and their featureless silhouette which sharply contrasts the background gave me a feeling of uncertainty about them. It felt like a cool world. Nice work!

The pacing was great, and the message in the end was dark, but makes a good point. I'm trying to be vague for a reason, because people should experience it for themselves. Great work!

Haha! I knew it didn't look completely wrong, but there was something a bit strange about it. I also spell grey 'grey' so maybe my English is just a bit more British than it is US.

I survived, but made all sorts of noises along the way. I really enjoyed the choices and outcomes, and the artwork is fantastic!

I conquered the Dark Castle! The art, music, and camera transitions create a great atmosphere.

I love the way you navigate an interact with the world, very cool concept. The story and descriptors were quite entertaining, I had myself a good laugh.

Dissolving people was fun until I realized I was trying to get them to the other side. I just really liked the dissolve animation. Although the guys waving their arms to the beat was quite nice as well. Cool game!

This is seriously my 6 year old son's favorite game right now. He played through it 3 times in a row one day. So good.

Such a rich and entertaining experience. Great work!

Great style and very enjoyable to play.

Thanks a lot, I'm glad you checked it out.

You know, you can't just go through life murdering everything and thinking you will win. There is a way to get some actual credits and a "Congratulations" screen, which is only slightly tied to the murdering of things.

Thanks
