Good find.  Thanks for posting this.

Thanks!  Wish I had more time to add a few more twists to it.

This is sweet, I like it!  Took a minute to get used to the controls.  Definitely nailed the theme!   The music will be stuck in my head for DAYS, lol

FYI other players, it took two times to get it to load up in the new window when you click the link to start.   Give it a couple tries and a moment to start.   Zoom zoom!

I agree with Andrew, cool game but a bit punishing :)

Nice!  I like it!

I love that this is almost a 2600 game in its simplicity.  Unfortunately it looks like the enemy ships have a bug and there's only about a dozen or so on each level and then they stop coming.

Chilly, I did a test and removed ALL the unused plugins from the project (there are a lot that are included by default).  Dropped the zipped size by 400megs.   Now I know!

Not bad!  Love the throwback feel.   Glad you got this submitted in time.

All Unreal games have a TON of stuff thrown in there for the build.    I'd guess the game assets themselves are only about 25megs.

Jam Spam

Nicely done!   I actually did a really quick and dirty game that was a simpler version of this called COVIDNATOR to teach my daughter about how infections spread.  This is a much better version of that concept.

Nope.

That's pretty good for your first go!   I really like the flashlight mechanic and I have to admit, the squeaky noise when you clean up blood actually made me laugh.

Nicely done!

Shouldn't need a gamepad.  Can play with M+K.   ASDF to move, left mouse jump, right mouse interact.

Keyboard is W/S for up and down.

freakin' lol

Pretty nice re-creation!

Nice jpg! A+++ would view again :)

Having the same issue.  I did finally find out if I go left (off screen) it does go to another screen.  Running 1920x1200, could that be an issue?

Nice!  I like it!

Am I supposed to be able to attack with the sword?

Went to the attic, found the note with the three digit code, then couldn't get out of that screen.

Did you submit "Bad Thoughts" as well?  Lots of similarities/shared assets.

What are the controls?

Just tried this out but the mouse control is so wonky I can't really comment.   It's like sensitivity is set to eight million - I kept spinning around to random directions.  If I made tiny little movements it was almost OK.

FYI, Windows threw the "Unknown Publisher! Don't run this!" dialogue box up.

Awesome!  This is a great surprise as we just came back from vacation in Costa Rica!

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, the way the turning is handled is not KB friendly at all.  Controller is the way to go, and even then the turn rate is too quick.  I messed around with the values quite a bit right before the submission window closed but couldn't get anything that felt any better.  Went back and forth with "too slow/wide turn" to "too slow movement" as they're tied together.

Ok that's pretty good, but really hard.   Got my arse handed to me.

Argh, RAR?   Booo hisss!    BRB, downloading WinRar :)

MANUAL LOL

Ok, that's pretty good!   Great use of the theme to take a modern style game look old!

I agree, controls make this super, super hard to give an honest attempt.
