Glad you loved it. I hope it wasn't to difficult to tell the difference between the boxes. I've looked into accessability in games previously and know a few features that would be really good to have in general and I think I will start to include more accessability options in my games and recommend others to do so, even if they are small projects/game jams as it allows for more people to enjoy it. I'm also glad you picked up on the portal/half-life aesthetic, initially it was just a sketch on paper that we noticed looked similar to the game The Labs, so we decided to keep with a similar design.

Really interesting idea I haven't seen something like this before and I think it's cool. I found it a little difficult to figure out what I had to do right away but I did get the hang of it.

Gameplay Video:

Really enjoyed the game. Love the art style and the mix of tower defence and bullet hell. I did find the final level was a lot harder than the previous levels and also I got really confused by the hearts, I thought they were a health kit and that I could pick them up because they were the same colour as the coins.

Absolutely love the visuals and audio. Really enjoyed the bug in the tutorial as I spent a few minutes trying to figure out if it was intentional because it's called Rythem Trapped, sadly not. But the main mode I really enjoyed great song and I loved the different patterns because they fit so well with the song. I am curious how you synced the spawners with the song. Did you place and time them all or did you somehow set up events to happen at different part of the song?

I wasn't sure how to make an enemy so I just made a simple bullet spawner then rotated it. What you said will help me out so much when I try to improve it. Thanks

Really liked the movement, found it really fun to move around. I also liked the models of the character and the ability to swap between different firemodes. However, I didn't like that I was getting hit by projectiles that didn't visually hit me. I also found myself ran out of ammo really easily and could't figure out how to get more.

I'm happy you found it cool. I would love to have make the game flow with the music like in Super Hexagon.

I'm glad you liked it. I agree that adding feedback audio and more patterns would really improve it, sadly I didn't get to do it in time for the submission deadline.

Really fun game! I really like the visual look and I think the chosen sounds work really well. I really liked the dialog because it added some meaning to the game. It would be nice if there was a way that I could charge the shield up because it didn't feel great to lose health to the unstoppable laserbeam.

Got 24 days in my first try. I found the game fairly easy to stay alive although I did keep getting hit and ending each week with no lives left. I really like the art style and I think the idea is great with really good exectution. Good Work!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm really glad you took the time to download and play it! I hope it wasn't too easy or too difficult from the get-go. I only wish I got more projectile patterns implemented to add more variety to the gameplay.

Impressive

If you have played it please fill this in: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfblZyw9MqPGJYU37qzLYhlOT5ShnAaTVmTQ9Nk...

Very cool!
