Really fun, I love the idea of the screen shrinking. My only complaint is I wish the game had a bit more variety, maybe some different patterns or the screen starts shrinking faster. otherwise super simple idea executed very well, great job.

Such a simple idea and aesthetic, but an absolute banger of a gameplay loop! My first couple tries ended in about a second, but once I got the hang of it, I was clearing 10K easy. Thematically, this is just brilliant, turning the theme of limitation into the very nature of the game. I would love to see some quality of life improvements, like a countdown timer at the start, or a leaderboard to keep track of my score. But overall, this is truly excellent work!

Fun game, great concept! Whoever came up with it must me a genius ngl. But on a real it's fun and addicting. Keep it up! :3

I like a lot the implementation of the theme, and the juice is there, even with very minimalistic graphics. I wish it was a bit easier especially at the start, the first games are a bit too quick to be enjoyable, the player needs a bit more time to adapt to the gameplay. But once you get the hang of it, it's really fun !

Just a quick nitpick, I think the bullets and player hitboxes could be a bit smaller, and the collectable a bit bigger, because I sometimes had trouble to touch the collectables, and dodging feels a bit hard sometimes.

Well done !

It's really good, simple in graphics but great colors. Maybe some feedback audio would be good. Also more patterns too, but it's effective, fits perfectly the theme, and I liked how addictive it is

I'm glad you liked it. I agree that adding feedback audio and more patterns would really improve it, sadly I didn't get to do it in time for the submission deadline.

If you plan on making it a game after the jam, would be a good game too, you may want to create the patterns as scriptables, that's what I did, so they are invoked by the spawner at will. It just needs the angle rotation and shot speed and voila

I wasn't sure how to make an enemy so I just made a simple bullet spawner then rotated it. What you said will help me out so much when I try to improve it. Thanks

Im not a fan of enemies either hahaha that's why I made spawners too, much easier and I like more the look of it

Very cool concept. Found it addicting in a similar was as Super Hexagon.

Developer

I'm happy you found it cool. I would love to have make the game flow with the music like in Super Hexagon.

great game! does a lot with a cool concept and basic art. Very rewarding gameplay that really sucks you in! Also I like the funky music.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I'm really glad you took the time to download and play it! I hope it wasn't too easy or too difficult from the get-go. I only wish I got more projectile patterns implemented to add more variety to the gameplay.
