Thank you so much! Oh yeah I had so many ideas, but I never programmed a dialogue system before so I cut and shortened a lot of what I had planned.
But now I know how to do it so yeah someday I'll revisit my ideas and plans!

Charming little game!
I liked Magenta's dialogue, good characterization.
With a very nice, completely not foreboding ending!

This is incredible!
Great puzzles, a setting that gives me the willies, and a neat revelation at the end.
Fantastic work!

Many thanks!

Thank you for playing!
Coding this dialogue system was a task and didn't leave me much room for other things, but maybe I'll compose up a track someday!

Really nice atmosphere.
Creepy how nobody else was around!

I finally got around to fixing it. Thanks again for reporting!

10/10
Absolutely incredible.
The aesthetic and voice acting really elevates the whole experience.

Fun game!
I like the aesthetics and how the crew members had distinct personalities, the writing in general was fun.
Pretty cool!

Fun little game!
I dig the Mirror's Edge / Antichamber style. There's potential with these platformer/puzzle mechanics.
I got the one ending for delivering all the packages so far but I like how there's hints on how to get the other ones.

Thank you for checking it out!

Thank you for checking it out! And for bringing my attention to this bug.

Many thanks for checking it out!

I really wanted to develop the story more but ya know, game jams. Let alone a dialogue system that made me want to pull the hair out of my head!

Thank you much for checking it out!

Really cool idea! I love the idea of a social deception sort of game, but like a puzzle of sorts.
Really cool low-poly look, and the characterization and writing hooked me in, you really get a great look at some characters from just a few sentences of dialogue.
Great work!

Love the art style, very storybook-like! As well as the storyboard scenes, very well communicated without using text.
I like the concept of a childhood imaginary friend seemingly coming alive and needing your help, but with an underlying sense of something sinister going on.
I'm very curious about where the urn came from, who sent it, and so on!
Well done!

I like the vibe of this game, the music and art make it clear the kind of atmosphere you're going for. There's some potential with the characters and setting. I'd like to find out a little more about why people choose to live more closely with nature, I feel like you can do a little more than simply "they wanted to live in harmony with nature."
There's a distinct effort in the character animations as well.
Overall, nice job!

Hahaha! That was pretty great. Sorry about glitches, thanks for checking it out!

Tempest Inc. is about a group of best friends taking on an evil force using their unique abilities!
Fly through the streets and the stony mountains and take down enemies by parrying their own projectiles, firing off seeking missiles, charging a hyper laser, and even chomping down bullets to power up!
I just released a short demo that shows the core gameplay. Future updates are planned such as more locations, enemies, bosses and characters!

Delightfully creepy! Love the idea.

Many thanks for playing and sharing your playthrough!

Hey, thanks for playing it!
I hope you play again to get the other ending!

Hey folks! My team and I released a game! It's a short, retro horror game inspired by classic titles like Resident Evil (1996).

In the far future, humanity has retreated to the ocean's depths from a hostile world.
A machine critical to support life has been shut down, you are sent to investigate.
Find the equipment necessary to restore functionality and search for clues to find out what happened at the facility.

Really fun idea! Well, as fun as can be navigating a phone menu. I really enjoyed my time playing it, you really captured the anxiety and stress of being stuck on a phone!

Your game is hard and I hate the RNG but I can't stop playing.

I ran into an error when running the demo in a new project:

ERROR in

action number 1

of Alarm Event for alarm 0

for object obj_textbox:

DoDiv :2: undefined value

 at gml_Object_obj_textbox_Alarm_0 (line 16) - effects_al              = array_length_1d(effects[page])/2;

############################################################################################

gml_Object_obj_textbox_Alarm_0 (line 16)

gml_Object_obj_textbox_Step_0 (line 20)

This happens right after hitting "E" to go to the next page, at the first dialogue box.

I have IDE version 2022.5.1.16

This is such a great idea for a game! The minimalist approach really let my imagination visualize everything. Thanks for including the ability to skip, I love the idea but I'm nowhere near fast enough to play this.

I only wanted to bring an idea to life and then start on a new project but I've gotten so much good feedback I've decided to keep working on it!
Thank you for playing!
