Good game, but im real bad at it

We crawling the moon with this one 🗣️🔥🔥🔥

funny golf

got stuck on lvl 15 and gave up lol

Damn this is great, only issue is that i sometimes fall through platforms, i.e. the collider probably isnt perfectly aligned with the sprite

now thats some high praise! thanks!

There some good stuff in here,, but its very very clunky (the input buffering especially)

This is pretty cute. a full little story with a happy end and all :)

Is it possible to kill the endboss? because it doesnt feel like it is lol, too many other enemies spawning, with too much health to get through

Great visual effects and fitting sounds, but uhm it seems a bit broken rn unfortunately. enemies keep infinitely respawning while the wave counter remains at 1. the faster i shoot the faster enemies spawn, and it just feels kinda laggy when theres 10 enemies dying at the same time every time you click

I think it was the one with the clock and one of the others, they just didnt seem to have any effect, but maybe it just wasnt noticable enough

Uh yeah i just straight have no clue what to do and clicking a group you want to try out is just annoying when they keep randomly running around at this speed

the sprites and animations were nice, but the movement was really slow, so i didnt end up completing the goal of 10 carrots, the foxes would just randomly decide to sprint straight onto me without a chance of escaping, yeah kinda unfun when that happens. But dont let this discourage you from making games, just keep going!

Well that was amazing apart from the ending where youre left being confused until you read the pastebin. Fantastic game. no notes.

Uh you shouldve really added a "in the direction of the wiggling arrow" to the "space to jump" tutorial text. I didnt notice the arrow at all until like 2 minutes in and just repeatedly jumped into random directions, dying instantly, which isnt a great experience.
Looked nice tho and the thematic concept somewhat resembles what i had in mind initially so thats cool that someone actually made it.

Ahh. a fellow mushroom game.
I like the weirdness of the mushrooms/plants themselves. But i ran into the problem of never getting those purple spores i needed for the first objective, instead just getting all sorts of other spores to plant, so i just didnt see everything there is.
Besides that the only two minor "bad" things about this are (imo): the talking-like noise being there all the time in the background, couldve had it stop at some point i think; and the camera movement - it was kinda nice at first, but having it move all the time when just looking at the book or when waiting for the plants to grow is just a little too much unnecessary movement

Having different abilities to work with is pretty cool, but some of them didnt seem to really work and i dont know whats up with that. Other than that, pretty fun and a good result for a week!

Yeah there is a second patch you can unlock after all the "more mushrooms" upgrades on the left side. But it just takes too long to get there. I kinda just threw things together and didnt really have the energy to balance it out all nicely and all. Thanks for the feedback!

ayo this is cool

this is a pretty great little game. was a bit tedious to find the aliens in the last bit, but its all nicely made.

Theres an issue with the ground sprites in that level rendering black lines inbetween them, which could be fixed by using the pixel perfect camera package.

but yeah, good job

i enjoyed the little bits of text throughout, makes it way more fun than without it

the menus are really high quality damn
unfortunately the gameplay doesnt hold up to that same level, the movement being inverted (up moves down, left moves right, etc.), and the character moving without any input, ouch

Cool concept, but unfortunately i just got stuck on the lever repeatedly, and flew over the checkpoints/dialogue circles repeatedly by accident

this is surprisingly good, only issue i have is the "change room" button being at the top left corner of the screen, when youre going to the right side to prepare the potion. just having the button be on the right side would make it a lot smoother imo.

either way, nice work

the characters look cute, but imo the gameplay is too slow and clunky as it is rn, didnt have a lot of fun.
but seems pretty complex with lots of things implemented and working, so that definitely deserves some recognition.

This is really good!

Actually reminds me that I was initially playing with the idea of making a game like this before the gamejam, but then i kinda forgot about it and made something else instead.

Well made, good use of the 2D lights, a bit in need of balancing, but its a gamejam, so great job!

pretty good, but having to completely restart a level upon dying after pushing around boxes for several minutes to open the way forward - oof. shouldve probably just made the platform go across the entire deadly pit at that point, but other than that, good game, just a little odd here and there (with the E mirroring along your character, and the movement explanation only being after you already moved, but thats really minor stuff haha)

good job with the visuals, very clean.

did really not expect something like this to show up in a gamejam, so that makes it that bit cooler

obviously very repetitive after a while, but eh who cares lol

That was neat i guess. not much to it, not much to say. just neat

yeah its totally a feature! <.<

Yeah this is pretty cool. I cant manage to get past the 4th level but this is a fun twist on the box pushing puzzles, nicely done.

personally not big on economy sims, but this seems like its got the correct ideas with just a lack of development time (but its a gamejam after all so thats normal lol).

leaving a planet had me go back and forth between planet and space for a few times before i could actually leave, and using the actual enter key is not the most intuitive imo.

I think just having fuel last longer would go a long way to make this more fun, because i found that sometimes you can just run out before getting anywhere, which is pretty unfortunate.

Honestly cant say that im a fan of the game as it currently is.
Spells needing you to do a sequence of inputs that are seemingly random just doesnt feel great, even if it pauses time while youre doing it. It just breaks the otherwise fairly fluent gameplay.
The one big thing to be improved is adding some form of communicating the layout of the level, so you know where the towers you have to defend are, before you have to actually defend them.
(Also ideally the shop should tell you how much an upgrade is, or what it does exactly)

The art assets in general are pretty cool tho!

It's a bit clunky, but i very much like the ideas in this with the interaction with the other objects in the forest.

With some more polish this could be a really fun game

A really pretty game, both in visuals and sound and music.
Not particularly special in terms of gameplay, but its very well made and deserves praise for that!
Good stuff.

This is one of the games that were made
its kinda cute with the birds, i like birds.

but gameplay wise, there is a lot that can be improved here, and i guess thats probably already known to you, since more than a year has passed between the last update to this page and me writing this.

it is not really clear what is or isnt an enemy/danger/hindrance. this is mostly with the clouds that you can shoot and kill apparently, which is not really something id ever expect.

the invulnerability after getting hit is a good thought, but also slowing down time this much may not be, it feels like i get it, can barely move a tiny bit, and then get hit again immediately, because my hitbox and what hit me are still colliding, ouch.

last thing is the charged shot, all it really needs is some indicator of how far you charged your shot, to know the timing, and thats pretty much good to go.

thank you very much for the feedback!

its a cheap laugh but i love it lmao

looks nice, plays nice. but you can just keep dragging the mouse in circles to go on forever. so that gets boring after a while

the visuals of this really remind me of hyper light drifter, i hope the gameplay is just as great lol
