There seems to be a bug here the player stops after shooting, and needs to press a direction key again before moving.

I do wish the functionality was a bit better specifically about not being able to eat anything and the weapons/totems didn't seem to work well.
Impressive for such a narrow deadline though, that's for sure :)

The animation choices and how things move and respond.

Really cool concept and gameplay, the little cell sounds kept making me laugh and the animation on this feels unique. Something to improve (if this was meant to be improved upon, anyway) might be the number of healthy cells can fill up the heart too much.

Nice work on this, it's visually pretty cool, it's smooth but I was a bit frustrated at the low rate of fire. Maybe changing that and the weapon cooldowns a bit might enhance the game.
