Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. I recently pushed an update to the control system that lets cards be used more easily and also makes the difficulty scaling a bit more fair. I also agree that the presentation could use some more work. I hope you can check this game out again in the future!

I was surprised with how much polish you could put into this ball-rolling game! Some of the audio could've been turned down because it started to drown out the narration. There definitely could've been more levels, but overall you did a really good job on this!

This was such a good entry! The vibes were very nostalgic; I used to love playing games like this as a kid. Something that you could do to make the game FEEL a bit better is automatically selecting the input fields after one of them pops up, it is a bit annoying to have to click them twice to get them to work. I also would've loved to see the human leave the facility at the end of the game! Good work!

I'm really amazed at how much you put into this, given the time limit. Great art style. Really well polished. Thank you for this treat!

Thanks for the feedback. I actually felt like the scope for the game was appropriate for me considering some of my previous projects, but I ended up being busier over the weekend than I anticipated and had to cut down on some of my plans. You might not have noticed because I never said it explicitly but holding the mouse button increased text speed for people that were a bit faster at reading. I've been hearing a lot that the programming was complicated, but I really thought that I had made it simpler than my original idea. Hopefully, if I work on it some more, I can address these concerns. Thanks for playing!

You really perfected the arty and sound design here. Everything felt cohesive and the mood was really strong and atmospheric. My only real gripe is that some of the controls and windows feel a bit unresponsive. Great entry!

You fit this topic perfectly. The visuals and sound design for the game also worked well. I really wish that the difficulty scaling between the levels was a bit more smooth. The difference in challenge between levels 1 and 2, or 4 and 5 was pretty surprising. Overall, it was a fun experience, despite some rage-inducing moments. Good job!

Thank you for your feedback!

I've also been playing every commenter's game, so if anyone in this thread wants more feedback, you know what to do :)

The game was simple and the levels were straightforward and entertaining. Some of the bugs hampered my ability to finish the game but besides that, it was a good experience! Nice work!

Hi! I also played and rated yours. Great job!

I loved the theme and music in the game. The beginning portion was honestly my favorite part. The platforming could definitely use some work though, moving around was frustrating for me. Really nice entry.

I checked it out! It's cool seeing how different a tower defense game can be. Thanks for playing

Levels were fun and the art style and theme worked really well together. Nice Job!

It's crazy to see how similar, yet different our tower defense games are! I really enjoyed the simplicity. The music and art style fit really well together! The only thing that would've made it better for me was a more straightforward tutorial and descriptions on the different upgrades for the turrets. Great job

Good job! I also made a tower defense game but it's really cool seeing how many different directions you could take it! 5/5 for simplicity

I got SUPER stuck on level 7 but the game is really well polished and I love the art and music. It fit the theme really well too. Good job!

Interesting concept! I really enjoyed the visuals! I'm not sure if this was an intentional game design, but the screen transition might not finish completely on some monitors. Looking forward to seeing any updates you make to it!

The concept for the game fit the theme pretty well, but it's hard to understand what I needed to actually do at the start. If you ever update it, I'm looking forward to seeing what you add or change!

It took a while to get used to the controls and figure out what the game wanted me to do. Once I did though, I enjoyed it a lot. I would love it if there were more things to do during the parts  of the game where the store opens up

I really liked the art style and the game was rarely simple! The only thing that would've made it better for me is if it had text explaining what the upgrades do. Good work!

This game was great! It reminded me of a flash game that I would've played during school. Really good use of the theme!
