No problem, thank you very much for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it and that the difficulty was just right! :D

Hey, first off I wanted to just offer a sincere and whole-hearted thank you to the developers, this plugin is absolutely amazing, I would never have in my wildest thought I'd be able to make a card game with RPG Maker and being able to do so feels amazing! I had some small questions and got swift and helpful response from the devs as well, which is so cool!

I recently made a jam game for pride month with the plugin (https://unity.itch.io/gemcard) and for the most part, things worked great. There were some bugs I encountered so I wanted to list them here.

  • The "End of Turn" label in Passives seems to activate twice. (For example, making the user take damage if they have a card in their hand at the end of turn means they will take that damage twice)
  • The lethal tag, to make the actor gain MP or whatever when killing an enemy seemed to work at first but very inconsistently. By the second battle with it, it was triggering the MP effect on non-lethal hits and then not working on lethal hits. I have no idea what's wrong with it.
  • When using a card or item to gain MP after you have none, usable cards won't be highlighted even tho you now have the energy to play them. I think making a tag available that would re-check if you had the MP that you could put in Card Actions would help, like recheck MP or something.
  • If you choose to turn off the party menu, if the player presses up while a card is highlighted, the game will lock up. This wasn't a huge deal as I could fix it just by re-enabling the party menu, but might be worth looking in to for people making one-party-member games

Thanks again, and all things considered, I'm very happy with my purchase here and will more than likely be making more projects with this plugin, it's just so much fun and has so much potential! Cheers, you all are amazing! :DDD

No problem,  I've had that issue with my own games before :D

Got an error when I tried to run the game.

Thanks so much! ^_^

hahaha it cuts into like half the gamepage on my screen lol

All joking aside, thank you for hosting this awesome game jam, I'm so happy I was able to finish in time, looking forward to seeing everyone else's games, will Liberty be streaming them? :DDDDDD

Looks like I found them, if anyone else is interested :D

...but still got a lot left to do!!!! Hopefully we'll all make it :DDD

Thanks so much for your comment, this totally made my day! I'm so glad this was so enjoyable in a time when you really needed it, that's so awesome!! And your idea of what happens to Alicia and Miriam afterwards might not be far off at all haha

Good luck!

These look great! :D Also curious if the tileset in the screenshot is available for sale anywhere? Thanks!

That works perfectly, thank you so much! :DDD I really appreciate your quick responses and all-around helpfulness!

Thanks again! ^_^

Thank you very much! :DDD

That works, tho cards still have a "1" under them where the DP cost used to be. This isn't a big deal or anything but I thought I'd mention it (I'm using MZ BTW)

Love all these awesome card game plugins! Had a question about this one. I didn't want to use Deck Points (DP) in my project, is there a way to remove the "DP 0" cost text in the deck editor since nothing in my game costs DP?

Thanks very much :D

hahahaha, I'll be cheering for you! :DDD Thinking of trying a card game myself :D

haha, very cool! :DDD

(Nothing to see here :P)

Very fun, what an awesome fangame! :D

Thanks so much for this wonderful comment! :D

I completely agree that I went overboard with the number of enemy encounters. It drags down the pace and the experience more than I'd like, and I'm taking it into account for Izrand Allure, making less encounters and making them easier to avoid if the player doesn't want to bother with them.

Thanks again :DDD

Thanks! I can get bad about actually making dev logs which isn't helping things, so I hope to do better about sharing progress

Thanks! :D I like the taller sprites better than chibi style as well :D

Ooops I've been terrible about updating this, I need to make a new update ASAP! Work is still going well but it's slowed a bit over the holidays, hopefully I can pick it up as the new year gets going further

I got stuck here, the door exit put me in a place where I couldn't get back to my boat.

Other than that, love the game, great vibes, great aesthetic, awesome use of the 3D, very cute, very enjoyable :DDD

It's going to have canon love interests, but in the future, I really do want to do games with dating sim elements :D

Haha, it better have at least as much sapphic romance as the first game or I will have failed :P :DDD

Happy that you're looking forward to it, and I won't push myself too hard!

Wonderful, thank you! :DDD So glad it still holds up so well ^_^

Working on a sequel now, hopefully one day I'll be done haha

I love your dedication to this game, and it's so cool to hear about people getting in to it again with the PC version! :DDD

Ah, thanks so much for your kind words, so glad you enjoyed the game :DDDD

I think I may add one. I have an idea of a dumb funny way to incorporate it too! :D I'll work on that soon!

haha yeah I love that they allow anyone who loves treasure to get it all first :D

Oooh thanks, that's a very cool idea! As for the stats and skills, unfortunately I haven't got them on any sort of spreadsheet or anything, so I don't have an easy way to do that.

Yeah, you're completely right, it's an OFF reference, I love OFF! :DDD

haha, it would have been great to have Pepper Steak in the game, that song rules, but yeah I'd have to ask the original composer and I wouldn't really feel right using it in a completely different game

haha thanks :DDDD

Thanks very much :D

Awesome :D Glad to hear

In City Hall past the room where you have to place objects to progress through a white room, take the path to the left where you can find a semi-hidden door. Pass through the door and through a dark hall and find the mayor's hidden room (you'll have to fight a miniboss). After visiting the hidden room, head back into the dark hall, the Fool will now be in that hall.

Haha, yeah! I was way to stingy with money originally XD

Thank you very much! :DDDD

;_; Thanks so much! Great to know that it works on Steam Deck, that's awesome! ^_^

Thanks very much! :DDD I'm working on getting Luxaren ready for a possible Steam release but it may take a bit longer
