*AHEM* (read the following In a british nature documentary voice)
One of the eight main Derlethian taxonomies the spectral taxonomy is composed out of ectoplasmic beings, many being rumored to be spirits of the dead, angels and demons, many of them being able to possess and curse their prey and agressors, usingectoplasmic powers unique to them, Also their spectral nature makes them extremely resistant to physical attacks, but as a trade off without much of a physical body to fall back on they are very vulnerable to all non-eldritch sychic powers, specially pure psychic, this might help us discover more about the mysterious nature of eldritch psychics.
Today we currently know of 21 species of spectral beings, with the inflictor and the fallen fool either belonguing in this group or close relatives, rumors say that even the Great Chagora the enraged, Inner evocation of Rage, might be a spectral being himself, others say its the dreaded Firtborn The Estranged evocation, if she even can be considered an evocation, is herself a spectral being.

In the next episode we look down at the creatures that crawl, slither and skitter along the ground, the creeps.
We desire feedback from our audience
I kinda associated each Evocation with one of the enemy types (Except for Zlonyth and the firstborn):
Elothu: Oddity (because he is humanoid like)
Farudon: Primal (this one should be obvious)
Ailtur: Machines (even if he does not look machine like in the least he is the only Evocation to use machine skills)
Ginyagu: Mystics (he looks kinda Whimsical and fantastical like many mystics)
Moror: Armored (He looks like a plant and the only plant enemy in the game besides the processing plants and the offshoots is a armored enemy the void tree)
Isanir: Creep (She is a giant centipede)
Chagora: Spectral (the weakest link since he does not use any ectoplasmic skills and uses phisical skills which very few spectral enemies use, on the other side he is kinda of ghost like in appearence)
Phritotch: Nightmare (one of the freakiest and most bizzarre designs out of all evocations, also specializes in eldritch damage)
Was any of that intentional?
(Again read this In a british nature Documentary voice)
Out of All eight main Derlethian Taxonomies, there's much debate for what separates creeps from the others, their main traits seem to be the following: many of them seem to be creatures that would be seem as pests or vermin like insects, worms, mollusks, fungi and arachnids, another common trait is that most, if not all creeps crawl along the ground.
Most creeps have very soft bodies, usually only protected by a weak, thin and brittle shell if at all, due to this they are particulary vulnerable to bludgeoning and cutting attacks, also having the cowardly instincts the vermin usually have leaves creeps vulnerable to terror psionics, These creatures defend themselves using mainly vicious physical blows, their psychic powers usually with the intent of poisoning and weakening their adversaries just as much as causing damage, many of their physical weapons also having such properties.
Today we know of 31 sub-species of Creeps making it one of the largest taxonomies.

In the next episode we see the taxonomy closest to humanity: Oddities
(OK you know the drill by now)
Compared with all other main Derlethian Taxonomies the Oddities are the closest to humankind, humanoid (or at least ape-like) beings usually capable of wielding tools and weapons, they also have a impressive 33 known sub-species, just to be clear: humans are not oddities, however transformed or reanimated humans are.
In combat oddities have a huge variety of possible fighting styles: some are mighty brutes capable of crushing their foes with their bare fists, some are skilled warriors slashing their adversaries to pieces with their blades and others are powerful psychics that use their minds to torn their foes asunder. Strangely however few (if any) of them use these capabilities combined. Due to their similarities to humans weapons that are effective on humans are also effective on them, like bullets, and humanity is more used to sadness than most animals so sorrow psionics will have a reduced effect, but just like humanity's intelect has exposed them to horrors most beasts have no knowledge of, Oddities are vulnerable to terror psyonics.

In the next episode we take a look at the Whimsical and fantastical beings whose greatest weapon is their mind: the mystics
(Yadda Yadda Yadda British documentary Yadda Yadda Yadda)
Mystics come in a great variety of shapes and forms, many of them being described as: "whimsical" "Fantastical" or "magical" many mystics, specially the most powerful ones like the fiendish mind or the magi master can be identified as psionics specialists at a glance.
Mystics fight almost exclusively with their psychic powers, one of them (the aforementioned magi master) even being able to fully channel eldritch energies in a attack, something unheard of outside of nightmares, and a few beings of unknown taxonomy (specially the most powerful ones), mystics have great willpower making Terror and rage psionics uneffective against them, the same applies to weapons channeling psychic powers like grimoires used as bludgeons, however their focus crumbles and can turn their own power against them when struck by sorrow psionics, also they have no defense against most phisical weapons such as blades and bullets

In the next episode we explore the beings of steel that should have never been: The machines
(Is this joke even still funny?)
Machines are metalic automatons that go from roboticized everyday devices like computer mice and toasters to heavily armed combat robots, most machines have a negligible amount of psychic energy if any at all, with only two of the thirty four currently known machine subspecies having a substancial amount of psychic energy, the mighty killer console and its even more powerful cousin (to the point of being the most powerful machine species ever discovered) the engine Buster.
No machine has ever been seen using psychic powers, instead they fight with a variety of high-tech weaponry, machines also due to their metallic exterior resistant to bladed weapons as well as any blunt instrument too soft to dent metal, they are also not programed to feel fear or sadness so terror and sorrow psyonics have little effect, they are however programmed for agression and anger psyonics overwhelm those systems.

In the next episode: The three "Is" Impregnable, Impenetrable and Invulnerable the Armoured
(ok I ran out of ideas for this first blurb)
The Armoured are one of the smaller taxonomies of only 22 sub-species, what all Armoured have in common is their hard and tough exteriors many of them being animated objects some have thick outer shells or are entirely made of wood or rock.
Armoured for obvious reasons are highly resistant to almost all physical attacks (although attacks specialized in piercing armor are particulary effective), the armoured also have a propensity towards depression due to their lonely tendencies thus making sorrow psionics particulary effective, they fight mainly with powerful phisical blows using psionics as support to weaken their foes and strenghen themselves.

In the next episode: The great savage beasts of derleth: The primals.
(lets just get on with it)
The Primal Taxonomy is the smallest of all eight derlethian taxonomies composed of only 15 sub-species, Primals take the appearance of fierce savage beasts ruled by instinct.
Due to their primitive minds they are particulary suceptible to terror psionics and resistant to rage psionics, it also makes Grimoires a surprisingly effective weapon against them since their simple minds cannot comprehend the complex knowledge contained in those tomes, these creatures for some unknown reason are also able to shrug off bullets, Primals fight using mainly theyr vicious fangs and claws with the few of them with psychic capabilities using them for support. Interestingly most but not all Primals quickly regenerate their wounds.

In the next and final episode: the most feared of all beings in derleth: The Nightmares
(Remember read this with a british nature documentary voice... One last Time)
The largest most powerful and most feared out of all taxonomies, the nightmares have the most alien, bizarre and frightening appearence out of all eight taxonomies, with a impressive 36 sub-species.
Nightmares are jack of all trades, masters of all, they fight using both powerful physical attacks and psionics, specially the dreaded eldritch psionics feared through all of the expanse, these beings are sources of fear therefore terror psionics have little effect, however who cares about terrors beyond your comprehension when every single day you have to work in a boring sucky job with a abusive job and every single day it is the same... Thus Nightmares a particulary vulnerable to sorrow psionics

Well folks it has been fun, but thats the final episode, currently these are all known taxonomies in Derleth, academics discuss if delegates could be their own but researches disagree, If any of the members of our loved audience has anything to say Im all ears, thats it for now. Till we meet again.
