Hehe, a week isn't just a week. 😉 Different people can have very different amounts of spare time to spend on such things.
Anyway, thanks! 😀
Very interesting take on the "balance items" interpretation, presented with a characteristic and consistent visual style, humor and charm. Full of surprises, and I didn't even get that far.
My one complaint is that it wasn't clear to me that the brick you can balance stuff on is a brick you can balance stuff on. I thought it was a hole/slot in the wall for me to put stuff in or something like that, and spent a while confused. Then again, perhaps I missed a part of the description or dialogue.
Seriously impressive stuff.

Nice game!
The art and sound all fit nicely together, and movement felt natural.
Some of the powerups lasted so short I'm not sure I got much use out of them, but the P powerup was fun, shooting bullets like crazy. :)
I do wish it ramped up more quickly. I felt I had played for a very long time without any difficulty. When the lights shut off I was surprised there was still something more to see – and the game might have been more fun and challenging had the lights switched off earlier.
