(minor spoilers for players) I enjoyed playing through the game! I love how you're creating a different game than your usual ones and I like the direction its going in. Now for the critiques! The major issue is same as the rest of the comments - the walking starts slow and the whole animation kicks off - that feels very slow, it'd be better if the indicator popped up when walking by an item but I read how you want to keep items hidden, so a workaround might be to give hints after a little time of being lost in the form of thoughts of the main character showing up in a dialogue box - it could be riddles ("I should probably call the store", "Where did I last see paper? I believe it was in my office.", "What did my superintendent tell me to do? I should get to it!" ) or show the indicator only for a brief window, or maybe bolden or color the interactable items in a slightlyyy different color which can only be noticed if a player is focused enough which might be a good workaround, just some ideas! XD. Then, my game hung when wrong-un told me that my name was written on the wall. I could keep calling the store over and over when I first got the phonebook and called. It might also be helpful if things of notice were written in the journal such as ("Trash outside the police station, its a miracle noone has burnt it yet.", "why is the trash outside the basement window?", "I'm done with the job, I'd best report to ma'am") like little scribbles or thoughts. I got stuck on finding items or how to progress for a long time and coupled with the slow starting movement and having to stutter walk, it took a long time!XD
I enjoyed it and look forward to the full version, (I'll play it as well after you make any changes just to test it out)

The cabinet, I meant I didn't input the correct number! It wasn't a bug, my bad. Also, the art started disappearing after I got my checkpoint just before I did the cabinet. (When Rob kills me because I told him where I was, then I re-arrive just before that moment and get another shot at the cabinet.) And the art also disappears when I go up to confront Ozy Mandias, (I mean Oswald) , I don't know if that part was intentional or not.
So, I got two endings. That was a nice conclusion to Bunny Hill Horror, I couldn't open the cabinet which Is sad, and also the visuals just disappeared for me all of a sudden at the end, so maybe that's a bug. Neverthless, I really liked this. I got two endings, how many are there? Also looking forward to your detective game!
I like this game. Just five minutes in and I'm into it. Love the choice of music, I was jamming to it. My most favourite thing was when the landlord ambushed Ramona and the way he was introduced like a boss. I like the bus mechanic and transport mechanic, you can't just immediately walk to the next city after all. Liked the interactions too. A must play game. (Landlord I'll pay my rent, don't call my parents!) I like how this game really does want you to suffer. (Paying 1 dollar to save, making Ramona do the extermination instead, tip hotline is 35 dollars, etc.) Too many encounters in the forest though. And sewer event triggers more than once. Had trouble with the sage boss at a lower level.
I made a playthrough, sorry about the audio, will correct it next time.
I really loved this game. The movement felt smooth-fluid as I started and the art-animation is really good. The ambience was nice. I felt though that a little more could be explained in the beginning as to what happened to the world and why I was there. (I read the description after playing)
Also its really brutal in its save points (Which is Epic) !
Just finished it and turns out its incomplete. Would love to see the complete version asap!
I would love for part 2 to come out as soon as possible !! I loved the game and had a pleasant experience!! Do take your time and make it an amazing experience!
The story could have a bit more plot incorporated in it or it could be more engaging or immersive. I also like how you reply to each comment!
The ambience and music added to the feeling. Really nice ambience.
