Neat game! Controls could use some work to be more responsive + would add some player feedbacks in audio aspect. Level design was kinda confusing and I got lost all the time, but got through it!

I can see the effort you have put in into this game and it's real solid one. In my opinion it kinda does not match the theme of the Jam, I just can't see going deeper anywhere. Would change how the ball bounce too, especially on 45° walls, for better game flow and experience ball should go up instead of bouncing back on the 45° I use this physics in my similar game to yours and it works just fine! Anyway I really liked the game but the theme is a miss.
Enjoyed playing this game! Game Mechanic was on point, nice learning curve. Could see this as mobile game in the future. Very nice consistent art style! This game should deserve more ratings!!!

That's overheat mechanic, after sometime the hammer would get colder and you can hit again, I should have added some text feedback that Player is overheated, but too late for that. Thanks for the comment!
