Hey all!
Just wanted to kindly ask if anybody would be up for plays testing the latest version of my game and giving me some feedback - I would highly appreciate it!
I'm basically interested to see how the players handle each of the levels and if there is the right amount of balancing.
You can find the game here: https://vladstoj.itch.io/datura-time
I was very happy previously when kind folks played and reviewed my game via some YouTube videos as it really allowed me to see what areas of gameplay the players faced challenges and what could be improved.
If you provide me with detailed feedback I will be sure to add you the credits for the final release of the game!

Hey all,
So I decided to finally release a new update for my game, Datura Time. The current version of the game (v0.7), represents about 70% of the full version of the game, which I plan to release early next year.
This update features new weapons, levels and enemies, and expands on the original storyline of the game. I have also made an effort to optimise the game and squash a lot of the bugs that were found since the previous release. I am also very thankful to those who played and reviewed the previously released version of Datura Time, as it allowed me to analyze and improve on certain gameplay aspects.
The current version of the Datura Time is being released on Windows, but a Mac version is also on the way.
Hope you have fun playing Datura Time, and please feel free to leave a review/comment if you feel like it ;)

Hey all,
Quick question (as I didn't see this in the rules specifically): Does the game entry need to be something that is made from ground-up during the jam week, or can I submit an updated version my game that I have been working on already for a while (with new content and gameplay updates being implemented during the jam week)?
Just a short update from me: I've been working on Datura Time a little bit slower than usual in the past two months due to responsibilities in my professional and personal life. However, I'm still putting in a few hours a week when I can. I have a good plan now for finishing the game and I plan to release the completed version around September. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
Project Page: Datura Time v0.35 Public Alpha
Datura Time is an experimental 3rd person action-adventure game with elements of horror and survival. The game is currently being released as a public alpha version, and it will probably be expanded into a bigger and longer game in the near future.
The game setting takes place in an alternate reality where the fall of communism is a never ending process. The player is transported to a city known as the "Zone", where they meet different characters (some friendly, some not), who soon make it clear to the player that they are not where they belong.
The visual style of the game is heavily inspired by the look of 90's games, specifically those that were developed for the original PlayStation and Sega Saturn consoles. Low polygon models, pixelated textures, jerky animations and low-resolution CRT screenspace effects dominate the visual style to help create a nostalgic and visually delicious vibe.
Gameplay-wise, the game mechanics are inspired by classic games such as Alone in the Dark, Resident Evil, LSD Dream Emulator, Silent Hill, Mizzurna Falls, Manhunt, Max Payne, Grand Theft Auto and the original Half Life.
The latest release (v0.35) features a number of game improvements and bug fixes, as well adjustment of the "bullet time" style combat effect activated when the player takes a Datura pill. The download file size of the game has also been drastically reduced.

Does require a bit of configuration to get up and running, but nothing too difficult.

Could you please review the public alpha version of my PC game - Datura Time ? Would much appreciate it ;)

Dear Itch.io admins,
I would like to kindly ask you to enable the indexing of my game project Datura Time (https://vladstoj.itch.io/datura-time), as well as my creator page (https://vladstoj.itch.io/).
So far, neither my game nor my creator page are showing up in any search results on itch.io. I don't know how long this was happening for, but I only noticed when my friend told me he could not see my game nor my creator page when he searched for it.
I also updated my game yesterday, but I don't think it should reset the indexing of it? Or if does reset after each update, how long does one have to wait to get indexed again?
Many thanks in advance and Kind Regards,
Vlad
