Hello! I wasn't sure what the best was to contact someone about this issue. I accidentally bought this item here on Itch.io when I had already bought it on Unity already. Is it possible for me to receive a refund? I can provide screenshots/documentation privately if needed. Thank you!

Oh!!! Ok, that helps a lot, and the code works on my end now too. Thank you so much!

After doing some troubleshooting, it looks like something is basically up with how bootstrap is handling the toggling. I'm still trying to resolve this issue, but I'm sure this is the right path for me to fix the problem.

Hello! This is a super cool set of code, and I just purchased it. Since it's html based, is there a way to use this code on sites aside from Toyhouse? I'm currently working on the code on a sample html file and the content isn't functioning fully.

Do you happen to know the type of stylesheets or other scripts that need to go in the head section in order for this to function outside of Toyhouse?

Right now, I want to be sure that I can get the toggles to work properly before I dive into styling. I'm using my own test images to ensure that the toggles are working correctly. I have this image set to the front layer right now (http://wannabeheroguild.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/WHSiteCastAcacia.png) and this image to the back layer (http://wannabeheroguild.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/WHSiteCast_Levina.png) and as you can see in the gif below, it seems to refresh the page as opposed to toggling to the back layer.

I appreciate any help you can provide, and overall, thank you for making such a cool html widget!

Hey there! My name is Ren aka Keraunic Tonic ! I'm still pretty new to game dev, but I'm really excited in doing this jam! I plan on using this thread to show updates on what I'm working on throughout the game jam!

At the moment, Golden Days is the pending title =v=

Good luck to everyone! :D

Day 7:

I've taken a breather from working in Unity to work on making some assets. I'm hoping to use these ones in particular as talk sprites once I flesh out how the dialogue will work.

Day 5:

I've created a quick opening cutscene (to be developed more later if there's time), and I've fixed the nav mesh/sprite positioning so that the when the sprite travels across screen, it's not referencing the middle of the sprite, but the feet instead.

Next steps include:

  1. Adding a crossfade to the cutscene when transitioning to the actual game
  2. Adding a frame to the sprite so that it faces left when travelling left and faces right when travelling right
  3. Add a NPC to start working on dialogue scenes

Thank you so much! 😁

Day 4:

I've added a sprite to the screen, and technically they're able to move around on a click, but I need to fix the NavMesh so that the sprite doesn't end up off screen.

Day 2:
I've finished drafting the overall flow for the game as well as listing out the assets that I'll need to create.
I don't have much to show right now, but I wanted to give some sort of update since the jam has started 😬

Hello! My name is Lauren, and this is my second time in My First Game Jam.
Last I tried, it was for the Summer 2018 game jam, and unfortunately I wasn't able to make a product in time. This time, I have more of a plan set in place, and I've been reading up to prepare.

Like last time, I'm planning to make a point-and-click adventure game using Unity with the Adventure Creator plugin.

The game will be about my characters from the webcomic "Wannabe Hero". Specifically, V.V. will receive a letter for a mission, but before she can go, she needs to find her sword.

Main Goals

  • Create basic assets for the game
  • Learn more about using Unity with the Adventure Creator plugin
  • Make at least one workable scene with one conversation dialogue

Update 1:

I made these basic sketches that may/may not be used as sprites for the game! I'm debating if I want to quickly switch gears and work with Ren'py or RPGmaker to make a product.

Hello J,

First off, I'm glad you like my characters!

I was wondering why I couldn't find much on AGS in the game jame resources, lol. A point and click is something I'm looking forward to making in the future, so I'm open to using the other engines you mentioned (Luckily I already have rgmaker mv, I just need to dust it off :P)!

Either way, I appreciate the heads up about AGS and I'll look in to the other engines too! Have a nice day!

Hello, my name is Lauren, and this is my first time participating in My First Game Jam. I'm planning on making a Point-and-Click Adventure game using Adventure Game Studio.

The game will be about my characters from my web-comic "Wannabe Hero" trying to start their actual adventure, but hi-jinks get in the way.

Main Goals

  • Create basic assets for the game
  • Learn how to use Adventure Game Studio
