Quite possibly the slowest AVN I've experienced. I guess that's neither bad or good, but just got through all 9 available chapters and I'm the opposite of satisfied. I guess I'll just forget about this for another year and see where it's at then. It's no biggie, I've already waited 3 years to get this far.
Ooooh, buddy. You have no one to blame but yourself for this can of worms.
Skeptical is 100% just as correct to use as sceptical. As a matter of fact, wouldn't you know it, even my auto-correct wants me to use skeptical. If you google "sceptical" what pops up first? Skeptical. With a tiny little footnote showing that it could also be spelled sceptical. OH, and that's through Google UK. Which just happens to be the *only* country that sceptical is even close to having a majority use in. At a 50/50 split.
The spelling of skeptic is, historically, more accurate than sceptic regardless of your personal opinion, because it actually isn't derived from sceptique. That's a huge misconception. Sceptic is derived from from the French word sceptique. Skeptic is derived from the Latin word skepsis. Latin is, by far, the older language, which many other languages are derived from. Including French. The evidence, as you say, is in the etymology. You did, you know, research the etymology, right?
Hate to break it to you, but it's not just the United States that uses skeptic. A solid majority of worldwide English speakers use skeptic. There is not a single country, in the whole world, that uses sceptic more than skeptic. Not a single one. So, when you say "obscure regional dialect specific to only one place on earth, such as America", I don't know what the crap you're talking about.
I did my research. And here are some numbers for you.
US - 92% skeptical
UK- 50/50
India - 68% skeptical
Philippines - 92% skeptical
Canada - 83% skeptical
Australia - 56% skeptical
Ireland 51% skeptical.
New Zealand 61% skeptical
Jamaica 72% skeptical
Trinidad 59% skeptical
It's called Netorare. Basically, a Japanese fetish for cheating or sleeping with someone else. In context of games like this, you basically watch the women have sex with other men, instead of your character.
I don't think this is gonna go with NTR. And, if it did, they'd be smart to warn us. Or make it optional.
I feel the same. I don't really enjoy any kind of anal play or weird fetishes. So, it's a turn off when I'm forced to sit through it. In fact, it kinda turns me off towards that girl entirely. I can't look at her the same after I'm forced to watch her participate in fetish sex. Thanks for pointing out that they can't be avoided.
Same! I forgot that in my last comment. I have to get just right up to touching them, to the point that it doesn't even really look like I'm touching them and then just lightly brush across a body part. Anything closer than that and you're "hurting" them. Any wrong mouse move, or you scroll your wheel too much and your hand is suddenly up their armpit or something. lol. Personally, I'd recommend dropping their pain gain in the cheats menu. I dropped it to the lowest just to avoid the system altogether for now. They'll still moan and complain that it hurts, but you won't cause them to leave because of it.
So, I absolutely adore the art style. The women in this look really, really good. But, in my opinion, the men don't look as good. I was a bit taken aback by Robert's...proportions. Specifically during the beach scene. I mean, if you go back and look at it, it's almost half as tall as the women themselves. He would literally kill a woman during sex. Even if you're going for a cartoony exaggeration. That's literally my only critique though, because the rest of the art style looks great. Emma and Olivia just look so good, really great job with them.
I personally don't mind that there aren't any animations, this felt almost like a comic book and I like that!
Please tell me how this game works. I can't get any woman to really undress herself, or let me touch her or do literally anything other than insult me and stand there. Almost no one poses. And I've spent all day trying to get a woman with a high exhibition rating, and zero luck. What the fuck is going on? I'm so frustrated and tired of it. This "favorability" system really sucks, not to be mean, but...shit, dude, I can't do anything. I say "Hello" and she tells me to fuck off. Isn't she supposed to be here for an interview? Who says "Fuck off", during an interview?
Sure, I can just...touch her without her permission, but it doesn't...do anything and that's not really my, like, style? Ya know? Her pleasure bar might go up super slowly, but no matter where I touch her or what I do, nothing happens. Then she just gets mad and leaves. This really sucks, sorry to say. But I am not having a good time and it's really starting to piss me off. How can no one show up with any kind of exhibition? I've been playing all day and my auto-profile still ranks women at ZERO exhibition. That's not right.
Can you cool it with the insults in this game too? Doesn't really set the mood to be called a faggot 30 times, yeah?
Thanks! Sorry if I came across as rude. Not my intention. I just get long-winded in my comments. I do like it! She's well animated and I was interested to see how it developed. It's also unique, most of these style of games just have you touching random body parts. I think you got something here. Keep it up!
Yeah. I have zero clue what you want me to do with this. The "overstimluation" and "frustrated" bars go up so much and so quickly that even just moving my hand around to find this way too elusive sweet spot puts me way behind. Even when I do finally find a spot that moves her happiness bar up (barely), it ALSO raises the other bars by more. Is there a way to let these bars go back down? If I move around, overstimulation seems to drop by a tiny amount, but frustrated goes up. There seems (?) to be certain spots that lower frustration but those still raise overstimulation. If you're wanting me to do this very tedious juggling act, I'm not going to do that. I've given this a dozen tries. My last try, I actually got happiness up to about, oh, 5%. And it crashed.
Sorry, man. But this just...isn't fun. It needs work. You need to fix the crashes and probably have a heart-to-heart with yourself on exactly what you want your player experience to actually feel like. I'd say you need to make the happiness progress more noticeable and chill waaaay out with the progress on the other bars. Hell, in one playthrough, I did three rubs and her frustration bar was almost full. That shouldn't happen.
I like MNF but there are so many characters that it's hard to develop an attachment to any one character for me. It does tend to meander, but that doesn't bother me. Real life tends to meander too and I like the sensation that they're just going about their day forming these relationships.
MNM is already starting down that character overload path, for me. But the story seems more focused. I think it'll balance out better.
