It's intentionally super difficult, and practically every part of the level is possible to get consistent with, especially parts near the beginning. Thanks for playing tho
I was going with the harder gameplay, and I agree that a checkpoint system would be great lol.
I kind of see where you're going with the slime lighting the blocks with its electricity, I never thought of that, but that's actually a really cool idea that I like a lot. :)
Something I would recommend to improve your games look and feel is to check out the Gamemaker's Toolkit youtube channel. He has lots of great videos explaining different tips and tricks regarding game design.
