This is a platformer with a high density of hazards.

Once I got to the thumbnail hole, I turned the game off immediately. I watch a youtuber do those on the regular (GrayStillPlays), and they never look fun to deal with, especially when you're restarting at the beginning every time.

Well done, otherwise, for your first jam. Game Design issues are the easiest to adjust for. Come back in January, and shoot higher!

Developer

It's intentionally super difficult, and practically every part of the level is possible to get consistent with, especially parts near the beginning. Thanks for playing tho

Very hard game, couldnt pass the falling part, I think with this fall speed, just removing the last radioactive block would make it more accesible, I like the slime animations and sfx, the menu also looks very beautiful, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The gameplay is intentionally difficult, and I was able to get decently consistent on the falling section.

Nice game, interesting way to hide/show stuff. I have yet to beat it, am currently on the whole spring section past the small tight forward jump.

Controls are ok as well the speed of the slime, just feel like the downward and upward trajectory/speed needs to be a tad bit slower, so there's more time to react (or the camera can catch up)

Developer

Good to know, thanks for playing!

great game - very cool aesthetic and fun gameplay. I died so much it would have been great to respawn a bit faster.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I definitely agree with you on the respawn time, and I plan on shortening it after the voting period.

Could not get it to start on mac, seems to be something wrong with the export or what I am doing. I'll run it on other platforms.

Developer

I'll see what I can do.  o7

As I don't own a system running mac or linux I couldn't test to see if they functioned correctly XD

Really cool concept! i really liked how things spawn when u get near them and super cool art style!

Developer

Tysm! I spent a while trying to get the art looking good, and I'm glad you like it! :DD

The neon aspect with a slime is a cool theme that works together! The first thing that came to mind was the slime lightning the neon blocks with their own electricity!

The level design is a bit harder and a checkpoint system would helped my dumbest brain that can’t jump right in the downard path 🥴.

Well done work with it!

I was going with the harder gameplay, and I agree that a checkpoint system would be great lol.

I kind of see where you're going with the slime lighting the blocks with its electricity, I never thought of that, but that's actually a really cool idea that I like a lot. :)

I like the concept of the game and the art style fits in really well with it, I just wish I had a little more fine tune control of the slime so he wouldn't move so much when I tapped a movement key. But it could also be exactly how you want it since it seems to be a more hardcore style of game.

Developer

Thanks! I kinda wanted to implement checkpoints, but I couldn't figure it out in time, definitely might be something I do in the future
